Yeh, I prefer short. But then, I do use my Paps Lux and Drift M22 in 18500 mode with a Heron. I'm not sure how I'll like long and (relatively) skinny. It was the lure of the new switch that got me (plus the GPin). The switch throw is "Just 0,3 mm, an almost feather touch switch."

I have just been back and had another look at the Piccolo and I still haven't bought one but............................................ they have SnP tanks back in stock and and stainless 18350 tubes. So I am another 80 euro lighter in the bank.

I think you just sold me on them. I was tossing between this and the cloupor mini. I have a 20W istick and love it but the threads are stripping slowly and the centre is slowly sinking. Those two issue being fixed has me keen.
