LOL The glass is to feed my inner dragon. I'm a lampwork beadmaker. I'm not sure about doing tips yet. I know of someone in the US who does pretty ones, but I've yet to venture into that territory. But essentially, a tip is just a bead, I suppose.. I'd have to check out what size mandrel to use...

Ah, thanks re the customs info. Hmmm Drives me bonkers either way. AP don't update their tracking, so things could still be listed as at the place of origin, when it's coming through your door, up to a week later. Domestic, International. All the same to me LOL

Ahuh a driptip is just a bumpy bead with a fixed diameter at one end ( or an O-ring if you are a little out :) )

Get Melting and twisting dammit LOL :D

wouldn't be to sure of that.
Borosilicate tube comes in most of the sizes needed. Just needs to be cut to length and have the ends finished, you dont have to blow tubes to diameter for the most part.

I agree some custom clear/tinted tanks for atty's would be very nice, please.

That's true, but I'm not sure how easily my torch and oxy (oxycon, rather than tanked = cooler) would do the jobbie.
I'd prefer to be able to put out nice, tidy work, and if my torch struggles (which it will with boro) with that, it might be a lot harder.

Then again, if I did find out for sure, I might have another addiction to work through LOL. Then it would be blowing and playing with points. OMG I'm starting to hyperventilate already!

I'm happy to look into it, though. But be aware that it's completely new territory for me and there's a lot to consider.
BTW, is there already anyone doing tank tubes in this country? That's another consideration that's important to me.

I got a few parcels this week.

Boge f16 tanks + some prepunched flanged boge cartos
    LR306 atty
    120ml VK5 trippler

Lots of other accessories not worth mentioning. I have a supply to last me a good year now so its time to get back into the black and finally see some savings... as long as i can hold off on that purchase button.

I think this is the first time in my short vaping career that i havnt been waiting for anything in the post :(

My next glass order's quite a while off (see post about just having bought a dozen kilos), but I'll wishlist some boro tubing, if you can help with info about diameters :)

Break out the verniers guys ;)
If we set up a database of sizes to mods with ID's and OD's listed I'm sure we could get you up and running
Be happy to buy you a couple of metres of tube myself

Cool. I'm happy to check it out.
But be aware I'm an old duck who lives and works seven days in a milk bar. Nothing is going to happen real quick.

    no probs Essie,
if you check the waiting lists on getting some of this stuff you'll see folks are prepared to wait.
Cutting and finishing tube might be a fairly low maintenance way to get some funds flowing ;)

    LMAO you guys!

I don't know whether it's poor form to post my online bead shop in here or not. Mods?
I suppose you need to see whether I can actually do what I say I can/might do..
I've only been at it nearly 2 years, and in terms of an 'apprenticeship' (which can be lifelong!), I'm just a pup.

But, I have to say, I really like it here in our milkbar, too :-D
