Just got my vmax from vapingzone tonite so still just playing (learning)

Started at 5 volts when I put in a fresh set of batteries

However when I removed batteries and put them back in battery voltage did not change. Stayed where it was set at

    A new feature?

I am running a 3.2 single coil carto at 5.2 volts which is higher than what I ran the same setup on my varistack on varistack above 5 volts was too hot.

Enough power for me but from what I read I thought I would need to dial it down more

Whoa! It stayed at the same voltage it was set at? I haven't heard that yet but I love it. I sure hope the ones we are getting is like that.

  8. Also included a color instruction manual

Trying to put it through paces and see if anything else is different

Acutually if you have it set at 5V and take the batteries it will stay at 5V, But if you set your VMAX at a different voltage, then it will reset itself back to 5V, at least that's what it does with mine! Good review bro! What carto are you usin that's 3.2 ohm's? I now use the Boge XL 801 3.0 ohm Fusions! :D

Yes I had voltage set to 5.2 but you gotta change batteries real fast or it does revert to 5 volts

Vapingzone exclusive tank carto's with 1 hole

Mine should be here tomorrow!:cheering: I just ordered some rebuildable atomizers that are EXACTLY like the Live V@ but a quarter of the cost so i'm thinking the Vmax will work great with them. I am tempted to buy a second so the hubby has one too. I was trying to wait for the co-op but looks like it may not happen now. Plus I think you only save about $20 getting it through the co-op and I would rather pay $20 extra and have it now. LOL I am a bit impatient. i got it for $89 shipped. I just need batteries. I'm trying to find the cheapest for the AW IMR 18350 and so far $7.22 with the discount. Is there anywhere cheaper?

The 2 cheapest places on the net are :
Electronic Cigarettes and AW batteries by Super T .......$2 or less shipping
    www.rtdvapor.com.........................$3 or less shipping

To my knowledge these 2 sites usually ALWAYS have AW's in stock and thats basically all they carry, they also have the Ultrafire WF-188 Intelli-charger which I feel is the BEST charger you can buy for AW IMR charging, it's the only charger I've found that has 4 switchable functions/features. It has 2 slider switches on each side, 1 to change the charging type from 3.0/3.2 volts for 3v batteries (RCR 123's) and can change to 3.6/3.7 volts for 3.7v batteries. The 2nd switch slides to change maH charging rate,1st or lower setting of 300maH for 3v batteries or overnight charging, and 650maH for 3.7v batteries and super fast charging, this charger quickly charges the AW IMR 18350's in 40 minutes flat from 3.2v when you take them out of the VMAX when it flashes the "Lo" battery warning and hits the auto shut down feature. You can't buy or even find another charger that has all these features and safely charges IMR batteries to 4.21v everytime with no overcharging for $16 bucks, the Pila charger has the same features but it's $44-$50 bucks. Keep in mind IMR batteries should NEVER be charged over 4.22 volts, if they reach this voltage they become internally damaged chemically and run times and amperage output become lower and shorter, overcharged to 4.5v and they are extremely damaged internally. Having the right charger for IMR charging is kinda important, some chargers do overcharge IMR batteries, but they'll charge ICR batteries perfect due to the pcb. Hope this helps a few people out. Take care everyone.

Vmax arrived today. I like it! It is smaller than I pictured. Somewhere in between my Lavatube and LT mini. I love the size. The LT mini battery life sucks so this will be a great improvement. It does fire WAY over what is reads I think. I had to go down to 3 volts to get a 2ohm 306 not to burn but works great on the 2.5ohm-3 ohm Cisco and i06's. Only been using it about an hour and so far so good. :cheering:

Hope these come out in chrome very soon. Used it all night and I really like it. I think the size is just perfect for my hand and it just feels really good holding it. Also lots of power. Can't wait to get my Def Con's to try out on this and my dual coil Scubagens. :excited: I think they would look especially good if I can get this in Chrome I will post pics later today.
