syringes - cant find them on fasttech - help....

Yeah the new rules make it difficult to not be rude to other members, sometimes, now but I always like to be polite & try to answer without promoting, if I get banned or warned for being polite, then so be it.

 

I dont have a ruler, but the top end is the size of a 10c piece, the bottom end is no more than 2mm across, more like 1mm.

I just looked at the picture and didnt read the measurements LOL. I have 2 I can chuck in the post sat if ya want. theyll fit in an envelope so no need for postage.

Hmm 20mm at the top, they might be OK for somethings. If not then I can always give them to my niece as wineglasses for her barbie dolls(after a bit of Hot melting of the stem part) LOL

seriously made my morning, first time ive .comghed on the forum for freaking ages.

 

Don't know anything about the glass ones, but if anyone needs any size syringe or needles, your local Vet would be a good place to ask, they usually have anything from 0.5ml to 60ml, they're all the same brand that doctors use so you're not using vet products 18-19 .comge needles are a good size for juices, I've found, especially with VG base. And the vets won't think you're a closet junkie be.comse nobody in their right mind would stick a 19 in their arm! We run a farm so we have boxloads of them on hand all the time, but most vets will be happy to sell you a few.

Really you can get 0.5ml syringes!! supercool oh im going to go and find a vet, excellent, this thread just keeps providing!!!

haha speaking of junkies, this one time in kalgoorlie, we wanted to infuse oranges with vodka, but all the hospital would give us was 1ml syringes. So we painstakingly shot 3 oranges up ml by ml as we drank until we were out of vodka and had to eat the oranges. that was a pretty shithouse experience so we went and got a watermelon and another bottle...no syringe needed.

 

That's a hell of an image, people sitting around with a bunch of needles and bottles yeah a 50ml would be a much better way to go! Must try the watermelon thing (adds to list of things to do before I die!)

The 0.5ml ones, from memory, come with a fixed small-bore needle, it'd be very painful sucking VG into it!

 

Look of the colour of that red, that's what you get for drinking red from the cask. Have some class, Barbs!

Edit: and the baby is clearly full-term. It's trying to be born breeched.

 

The glass syringes are all glass.. no rubber or any other material in them. They're wonderful.

 

Yup a large watermelon is the go, lie it on its side, and just cut a hole and wedge the bottle in there. I cant remember if it started leaking or if the boys were just trying to be funny but they put a tampon in one end of the melon. It tasted really good, drastic improvement on plain watermelon, which is just so watery! you can make vodka infusions out of just about anything, chillis is great, raspberries, mandarins, redskins.

I would just be using the 0.5 for concentrates, lol no vg. i hate vg, its a COAT.

0.5ml syringes are used for insulin injections, they have the same graduations as the 1.0ml syringes, I believe, so there is no real advantage to them over the 1ml syringe for our purposes.
