    Joe,
On average, I clean my coils every 3 to 4 days using the described method. If you are finding that the tap is not doing the job then fill your mouth with water, put your lips over the chimney or hole where the chimney would go and squirt it through a few times. Maybe 3 to 4 times. This will also clean out the air intake of the coil. Just make sure that you clean your teeth first LOL, but it works a treat. Then let it dry out naturally. I know that some people get 2 weeks plus out of a coil but remember that the kanthal will start to degrade as soon as you start to use it (just like a new car), so on a rotation basis (cleaning every 3 to 4 days) 2 coils will last me a fortnight if I do a total rebuild after 7 to 8 days of vaping per coil. I'll try and simplify my process:

Vape one coil for 3 to 4 days
Clean said coil and let dry out. Install and vape on second (spare)coil for 3 to 4 days.
Clean second coil and let dry out. Install and vape on first coil for 3 to 4 days.
Rebuild first coil. Install and vape on second coil for 3 to 4 days.
    Rebuild second coil.
    Repeat process etc.

So for every head that I use I run two coils.

I don't know what goes in to the make-up of concentrates haven't really looked in to that.
Sorry if I've rambled on a bit, the head is still a little foggy after spending some time with Ms Bourbie last night.
    Cheers

Haha good on ya tis the season to be jolly. I'll take your advice and clean them every 3-4 days I think I left it for to long to try clean the coil last time I tried it. Looking into getting into rebuildable tanks to I know it's a bit more involved than the replaceable coils just got to do some reading up on it and choose one of the million of rebuildables out there. Do you use clones or originals?

    Joe,
The replacable coils are what I rebuild and am talking about ha ha. Makes things nice and cheap as well as tasty. My vaping is set up for where I would vape the most (like in the workshop) so I don't need anything too big and bulky, or anything I would shed a tear for if I accidentally broke it. Got to fit in my shirt pocket. After all, a person normally works 8 to 12 hours a day.

In addition I have the normal RBA tanks like the Kayfun, Taifun, Aga etc for vaping at home when I have the time and space for a bigger set-up. Except for the Aga, every other tank I've got is a clone. I don't buy a first off clone of a newish released tank, I usually sit back for a couple of months and let them iron out the bugs first. A good example of this is the Kayfun V4. Just released and the clones are already out there.
    Cheers

I soak my coils in mix of deionised water and bicarbonate soda overnight, flush them out (gently) with a 30ml syringe with another hit or two of deionized water, blow them out with a tissue wrapped around it and then into the oven @ 75* for an hour or so... I do this at work with a vacuum oven but any conventional oven at its lowest setting would be fine, and there ready to go with no dirty watered down taste and no rust on the coils. I found leaving them for a few days wet was rusting them up.
ive got a few Aspire BVC's that are over a month old that operate and taste just like new, they come back down to 1.6-1.8Ω too.
I was a bit rough with one and upset the coil; pulled it apart just to inspect and although broken, it was quiet clean with no smell of juice.
