Stoney can you elboarate on what happened when you used a wick that was too long for needle?

Also I'm out of blank PG but would like to try a longer wick. Any reason I couldn't douse in VG? Can't produce that much acrolein just dousing, right?

no matter how slowly I squeezed on the syringe, it basically bubbled out the top of the wick instead of going in the tank. I had to syringe through the top silicon cap to get any in there pretty much.
I was using the blowtorch on the wick after the last dousing, I assume thats correct, even in VG that will end up resulting in nothing more than carbon on the mesh I reckon.

Why not get a CE2 filler needle and run it beside the wick?

They are very small. Almost too thin to suck up ejuice. When I'm using them to fill tanks or whatever I fill the syringe with a 16/18gs and then switch needles.

i have been mucking around with the frta for a bit and i rekon it could have 3.mm wick hole as it wont wick quick enough for a really long fire.if i tip it upside down with the 2.5 mm hole it will fill the wick but only enough for prolly three hits.the coil i made is 3.5 ohm and on the pro at .5 volts its not bad.does not taste any where near as good as the orion ,cant figure out why.its the same principle and the same wire and wick material.the orion coil is 1.5 ohm but is only being pushed by 3.7 volts.they are both juice pigs can choo through a ml in an hour.i fill it before the wick is in and make the coil after works better.

I don't have wicking problems with mine. I have not enlarged the wick hole yet.

I think the work in the design, engineering and manufacture of the Line and Orion may be at work.

My 2 Lines were pretty much the same but this is a different vape

But that said my f-tank vapes ok as is, well I did en-small the air hole.

my current wick doesn't hit the juice, so I tip it before each vape, works ok .. but not sure its for me as is, too hard to fill and man does it suck juice, almost like sipping the stuff.

That F-tank is hard to fill and get right.

The Line to me is bordering upon perfection, it does like to quaff its juice but does it in a way that brings enjoyment. I like to wrap a new coil every few days and scrub my wick also but this to me just keeps the taste alive, you could go a week.

It gets easy when you get into the groove and as I said it is worth it.

The Filly tank is a cheap substitute but works ok with all the fucking about.

There is a certain satisfaction gained in scrubbing ones wick, I enjoy it now. Once it was rather bothersome but now it is pure delight. If you have one, I reckon, give it a scrub! It only takes a second or two to adjust to what is needed for a satisfactory outcome.

Point well taken. I'll give my wick a scrub more often then.

Na mate, you don't have to do that. Just lay on your arm for a while and when it goes to sleep, scrub your wick and it feels like someone else it doing it. But then there is the pins and needles when the feeling starts to come back....
