Get yourself a Super T Precise Simplicity or ELA. Well made devices. Low voltage drop. Lifetime warranty on the ELA.

I'm very happy with this little guy I picked up recently.

"Sentinel V3 Clone" from FT

Brand new and shiny.

After some patina - no cleaning other than microfiber towel.

Compared to the DrawTube and K-100 mechs. (all in 18650 mode using CGR18650CH flat-top batts)

• all brass - it's heavy
• floating 510 connector
• super-low voltage-drop
• solid as with zero rattles when tightened down
• very small for it's heft - about 98mm unlocked in 18650 mode
• brass connector and switch contacts & rubber insulator ring on bottom contact
• very good threading and overall build
• Good bottom button...comfortable and short-throw w/ lock
• I've had enough of shiny SS
• It's about $20 shipped

Just do not get the "silver" ones made from soft aluminum unless you intend to use a brass top cap...they will strip the 510 in a heartbeat.

Yeah, it is.

According to a guy on their discussion forum for it:

Oh, BTW Papa Hoyt - how many $18 mech mods can do this:

Yup, that's the bottom cap and button assembly. It comes completely apart.

Hey everybody,
thanks for all the advice and suggestions, altough i posted this thread along time a go and even forgot about it, alot of mods passed through me since then lol.
but since then i can tell you from my experience that the best cheap mechanical i have is the EHPRO ELA clone, built like a tank and very low voltage drop, almost as good as my mortar V5

ah yes the mortar series,i had a few of the V4's but sold them off because the threading was very very crappy to say the least.now i have a V2..to me it is a collector, took me 1 1\2 years to get my hands on it..even the maker couldn't help me find one

but both of those are the solid brass one,,is yours the same ?? the solid brass ones have by far the best hitting capability

yea mine is also the solid brass one, it hits like champ lol
i did a voltage drop test comparing to all my other mech's and it kicked ass!
when i got the EHPRO ELA clone ofcourse i compared also to the mortar, the test i did is nothing special, same battery and same atomizer and using a voltmeter and the EHPRO was only off by 0.05-0.1 volts from the mortar so for the money it also hits really hard
