One more Question on flavour concentration, We have discussed the concentrations of individual flavours in a mixture but what about the total amount of flavour when using say a desired 50:50 PG VG mixture, ie; if the recommended concentration of x brand vanilla is 20%, can you then add 15% of x brand other flavour making a combined flavouring concentration of 35% ?

obviously in order to achieve a 50:50 mix then total flavouring cannot exceed 50% given that the flavourings are normally PG based.

    Cheers!!

35% is gonna be pretty strong, I would be more inclined to take the first flavour down to 15% max, and the second flavour down to 10% max, giving a flavour strength of 25% overall, which is still a fairly strong mix, but vapable.

Give unflavoured juice (PG, VG and nic) a go to help with your tongue, couple of days without bashing your taste buds over the head worked wonders for me (am a heavy vaper as well, would be fine in the morning but unable to taste much of anything by the evening).

    Yes. Oh yes. So right.

Every day, by mid arvo, nothing tastes right if I can taste anything at all. I've always got an unflavoured carto/clearo in the daily rotation of flavours which helps lots.

I don't know exactly what kind of answer you are looking for but a lot of e juice places will mix the flavor for you. I think the best way to avoid "vaper's tongue" is to change your flavors our regularly. Having 2+ tanks around can help with this, some people like to vape one flavor in the morning, one in the afternoon, and a different one in the evening for example. Changing the flavors up frequently keeps your sense of taste a bit sharper.

Honestly, I don't think any amount of flavour is too much. I think it's more of a personal choice. Just like cheese, no amount of cheese is too much cheese :)

Well, drippers are great for testing mixes. I've seen various sorts of drippers all over the states. Good luck mixing

I don't think there's a certain exact percentage to determine flavour for each individual. Because most of the time, it varies from person to person. I would advice you rather to steep the juice correctly to allow its full flavour to come out. Aside from that, change up the percentage of the juice if it doesn't work for you anymore. You can also have a different juice if your favourite one is not working anymore. Make sure that the juice is quite different from the one you lost the taste for. Lastly, drink lots of water because vaping can certainly dehydrate you.
