E-cigarettes are much safer

You can't consider cigarette fires as a serious cause of fire related death, even tough the statistics looks so. Just because some very stupid people started fires, it doesn't mean that you or I will, unless we are that stupid to smoke while filling the gas tank or anything like that. Anyway, e-cigarettes are indeed much safer, also helps your pulmonary level to get to its maximum level, compared to cigarettes which shrinks it even my 30%.

 

E-Cigarettes are much safer than cigarettes for sure. It doesn't have an open flame, and no ashes coming out with the potential to catch things on fire. Although that doesn't mean it doesn't have the potential to be dangerous if misused, like you said with the modded vape exploding in the guys face, nothing is 100% safe as there will always be idiots.

 

I am proof of that. I smoked since I was 10 and I am a bit over 30 now. Back when I smoked, I started cycling for fitness and each ride was almost painful because of the breathing problems I was having. Then I started vaping and now riding 100+ miles a day doesn't hurt me at all, well at least my lungs and breathing, my legs is a different story lol

 

Back in the day people used to smoke in bed, and there were some cases of people falling asleep with a cigarette in their hand and setting themselves on fire. With vaping you never run this risk.
