Hoyt, I went with the 18350's as you suggested and made a 7.4v copper mod. It's kinda long at 6" to fit the Switched Regulator and pot for 3.6v to 6.1v. I cut down the end caps to 1/4". It's something to use at home and not carry around. The batteries last a long time with the switched regulator which is 96% efficient and no heat. I went with the PTR08100w which I got as a free sample from T.I.

    Well good deal bro.

You got some updated pictures you would like to share?

Also 6" is not to bad.... heck from what I ready that would be considered average length....LOL :D

I really like the ones with the cut down end caps, they look less like pipebombs LOL.

the cut down caps do give it a different look although the pipebomb look is nice too.

Breaktru your mod is awsome. I have a very large copper collection in my home and have always liked the Copper MODs but yours I LOVE.

    Hey Capevette,

What circuitry did you use to control the variable voltage? I want to add that to my home-modded p/t, but I'm not sure where to look for the internals. Does your mod work similar at all to the pro-vari?

    Thanks!
