ok well this is exactly what i did. i unscrewed the atty, put it up to my ear and listened and thought 'this is like a seashell, if i listen hard enough ill think im hearing a sound" then i realised id probably have a better chance with the music off. so i went and turned on the light! I am so blonde! End result with music finally down, no it doesnt make a sound. It must be something wrong with the clearo, its an iclear 16, its the second one ive used on the mvp and the second clearo ive used on it in general, maybe its just corrupt in some way that the spinner powers through or some crap? idk this techy stuff. but you dont even need to listen for it you can feel the vape start and stop. its split second shit but still an annoyance - enough for me to swap devices.

well at least we solved the igo problem. i think i just need to start my own thread 'fix flos fcukups'

thats good news re no sound form the mvp

i havent used the iclear 16 but it sounds like its cutting in and out - u probably have a loose coil - just tighten it? i had a vivi nova like that - coil would come loose - then you just tighten it and its good to go ---- for a while

Sounds like it's using the 33.33mhz chipset to me.
The same one that the Zmax uses & .comses the "rattlesnake" sound when you have an atty on it.
Completely normal, yet annoying to some people.

It has to do with PWM, which switches the device on & off multiple times per second to achieve the correct voltage.

PWM looks a bit like this when put on a scope to see what the wavelength looks like : -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
Non PWM DC wavelength looks more like this: ----------------------------

okay well my green light never turns on and off - its probably trying to tell you something is up with the clearo - my guess is the coil in the clearo is loose and its cuttin in and out

but thats just a guess cos it happened to me using a vivi nova with a loose coil - which i then tightened - remember im newbie here tho

but flashing green button is ng

I haven't done so myself as yet, but apparently cotton wicks (rolled cotton balls) are a lot easier to change, therefore good for testing different flavours.

You can just pull out the wick and change it over. No need to make a new coil or wash the wicks.

you're right cotton works great in or under a contact coil in a dripper, i've been using one for a couple of weeks.

You gotta make sure you make your contact coils properly, otherwise you're gonna get funny tastes. Also do NOT dry burn cotton. you gotta just pull it out and swap it out if you fancy changing flavours....heck when i use menthol i just throw a new flavour on top...

also you gotta be positive that the cotton balls are 100% cotton. I contacted the manufacturer of the aldi cotton balls, and was advised they were, then i boiled/rinsed x 3 times then dried over 48 hours. They came up b.comtiful.

I've only needed to rewick once in the past 3 weeks....after about a week and a half....this second wick isn't as good as the first lol...it seems to not absorb the juice as well when i drip in my igo...so if i hold it just wrong....it all comes out of the air hole...lol

otherwise the igo L is fucking awesome. Haven't put it down since i got it. love it. you can't go wrong with 4-5 of them. i think 2 would have been sufficient but if you've got 4-5 you can taste 4-5 flavours quickly before moving on.

    PICS or it didnt happen

I don't wanna hear about how your camera is crappy, I want to see the pics.

Re: the igo-Ls, when I got one everything changed for me. Now i'm a RDA only kinda vaper. Interested that you didn't go for at least one igo-W? It's only a matter of time before you want to try dual coil.

This is also another 5 bucks well spent. slightly larger chamber than the fasttech igo-L, has holes in the posts and naturally requires drilling.

my igo L's came setup as dual coil and one of them was great. I can imagine it would be a nightmare to recoil the igo L as a dual coil...but it's doable....

I've heard good things about ALL the Igo's...

yeah Noe stop being a wick tease...

mind you I'm happy with silica and cotton for now.
