Its supposed to be a rebuildable UFS from what I gather -- but it'll be 2-1/2 bills so the resale market above that will be miniscule, my friend!!! :D :D :D

GGTS with a 901 atomizer or a UFS will shorten the pin enough to use a drop in VV module with an 18650 I believe and not expose threads from the telescope. With a 510, the threads may be exposed, but I believe it would at least work. I run in shorty mode w/ 18350s a lot... So I know I would use an 18500 vice the 18650, unless home.

Papa could you tell me what the advantage is to be able to set watts as opposed to finding your sweet spot according to volts?

It's setting a constant. As the atty drifts up and down due to temperature, age etc...the vape will stay the same. Put an LR or normal or even HV atty in... same vape ( I guess).

Wattage will remain the same. as volts will sag as the battery goes flat, if you are using a voltage regulated mod then you have the advantage of keeping a more consistant V but you have to use a dual battery set up to have a higher voltage to be reduced to the voltage you want.

With this device it acts as a booster so you can use one battery and it "senses" the resistance of the atty 1.8 or 3.2 or what ever you have on there. it then compensates by reseving Voltage and energy out of the battery to be delivered to the atomizer at a specified wattage.

If I tell you that I like a good solid 8 Watt vapor then you know what I like but if you tell me you like 5V then that leaves room to be interpreted, what resistance do you like? are all your atomizers 100% the same as far as resitance? Yada Yada yada, wattage is a far easier way of determing what you like better.

Kinda like light bulbs, we do not buy light bulbs or determin the bulbs we like in Voltage or Amps do we? We buy them by the wattage. we know a 40 watt will be to diom and a 150 will be to bright for the lamp we want them in, ther for we pick a 75 or a 100 and see which works best and then we stick with that wattage. It is just all around easier.

    NYS,
Think of watts as "power or heat that is released." Voltage squared divided by resistance will equal watts so 5 volts and a 2ohm(resistance) carto will put out 12.5watts of power or heat. Use this online calculator and you will understand better. Online Conversion - Ohm's Law Calculator
The higher the watt rating on a microwave, the faster food will heat up because again, higher watts equal more power and heat.

If I like vaping at 10 volts but my carto has 10ohms of resistance and you are vaping at only 4 volts but use a 1.5ohm carto, you would actually be getting slightly more power and heat than I would. Using the formula to figure out watts, I would be vaping at 10 watts while you would be vaping at 10.66 watts thus putting out slightly more heat, power and vapor than I would.:)

    Hope that helped a little.:D

Thanx for that Ohm's Law refresher...you guys broke it down like I was an 8 year old. That's what i needed. This Kick sounds like a game changer... maybe even more so for the casual modder, than for the commercial side.

I hope I can try one before I buy the VVPV, better $40 than $170 for a more steady vape........I'm not holding out hope on an affordable VV module anytime soon for my GGs, I'm thinking Imeo's liking the Odysseus project more..........:(

Wonder how much the 12 watt model will be?

I have a VVPV on pre order too, I think it will be damn nice for people who don't own an arsenal of PV's..

I'm with Hope on the 12 watt thing. My favorite setups are all in the 12 to 13 watt range. I don't think they are going to offer a 12 watt version though.

  14. 12 W has been mentioned.

Oh good! Will probably want a couple of them if they are 12 watt.

  16. Last I heard from Brandon the final specs haven't been set yet... of course, that kinda goes contrary to drouche saying they're going to be shipped to him any minute... I really hope someone other than nHaler stocks these at launch. Maybe we should get on Bruce to do it.

I totally agree with you Chaos. I might not buy any of these if nHaler is the only site selling them. Bruce definitely needs to carry these.

I want one too bad not to buy from nHaler... but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Speaking of Bruce, where's he been? Haven't seen him since we started bitching about the price of the iAtty2. We might see more of him now though.... :)
