I just started vaping. I'm not sure how much I like it. I keep finding myself trying to vape instead of smoking but yet I still buy packs of cigarettes.

I have been vaping a while now but I too still buy them too.but I don’t smoke two packs a day any more. I wish they still made the kind that looked like pens that I started with they was less messy and didn’t act up as much, the battery's didn’t last as long but I thought they was more user friendly and did not leak.
I found that I used to do the same thing. I would buy cigarettes and switch between smoking and vaping. There were two things that that really helped me switch to vaping and quit smoking. The first was that winter in Canada is really cold and I could vape in doors (at least in my house), I still had to go outside to smoke. I don't like being cold, so that became motivation to vape instead of smoke. The other thing that happened was at the beginning of February I got sick and when I'd smoke, the coughing fits would be so bad it felt like I couldn't breath. When I'd vape, I'd still cough but it was not nearly as bad, so I chose to vape instead of smoke. I can now say that I have had a total of 3 cigarettes since the beginning of February instead of the 3 to 5 per day that I was smoking in January while vaping.
These were factors for me, one of which was not really I choice I chose to make, but circumstances forced it upon me. I believe that everyone needs a reason to quit smoking completely and at some point you will probably find yours.
stick with it and plan a day when you stop buying cigarettes, go a week without smoking cigs and you'll be free and clear, completely satisfied with just vaping!
I still find myself buying smokes because of the psychological attachment that I have to smoking. It's nothing to be ashamed of. You will find yourself smoking less when you start enjoying vaping more. If having the smokes around makes you feel less desperate about the thought of quitting, then don't force yourself to stop buying smokes.
