Why Vaporesso Revenger kit is so popular?

We’ve already seen what Smok and Joyetech have to offer, but maybe Vaporesso has a trump card ready? YES! Vaporesso is back in the big game. After the impressive Revenger kit, the company’s flagship line seemingly took a step back with the Vaporesso Swag. And just when we feared that Vaporesso might be giving up on the premium niche, it’s ready to wow us with the Revenger X Pro: a flagship device that first features highly responsive touch buttons. This time Vaporesso Revenger will definitely stand out in any crowd.

Vaporesso has redesigned the new Revenger in line with the most recent vape trends but also succeeded to add an original spin of its own. The Revenger X is updated with a mobile-specific vibration motor and a brand new OMINIBOARD 2.2 user interface. The Revenger X’s impressive specs sheet continues with a 0.96” OLED screen (16 tier brightness adjustment), a top of the line OMINIBOARD 2.2 chip with 220W of power output, 3 responsive touch buttons, a mobile-specific vibration motor with Haptic Pattern, and an eight-tier vibration adjustment in Sensory accommodation.
The Revenger X is the company’s first vape mod to feature the new OMINI board chip 2.2, which brings a new processor, more functional modes, and a brand-new user interface.But then, if you are eyeing the old Vaporesso Revenger model, you should know that it comes with the same 220W of power output supported by dual 18650 batteries and an inferior OMINI BOARD 2.0 chipset. It features similar In-Mould Labeling (IML) case with the same build quality and the same old Vaporesso NRG tank though, so if you like what you see here, but can’t afford this price tag, the old Vaporesso Revenger may be a viable option.



The Revenger X mod measures 45mm by 89mm by 28mm which is almost a centimeter shorter than IJOY Captain PD270 Compact we recently reviewed. One look and you know it’s a Vaporesso product. Whether it’s a glass or metal that opt for an all glossy aluminum alloy body, the Vaporesso signature design is sticking around. Overused though it may be, Vaporesso still has the sort of appeal that draws millions of returning vapers around the world. The IML case can provide “greater quality graphics” than other traditional decorating methods, according to Vaporesso’s product description. The IML label is inserted into the mould. During the injection process, the injected molten polymer fuses with the in mould label. The end result is a decorated packaging part, produced in one step.
Curves accommodate seamlessly around the edge and continues smoothly on the corners rather than ending abruptly into a square. Vaporesso X fits nicely in the hand and will be easily operated without stretching your fingers. The IML is also nothing prone to fingerprints, very easy to clean.

The highlight, of course, is that glass piece in the middle of the front panel. It accommodates the OLED display and three touch buttons. The display is not always-on, but offers enough features to justify its existence. The responsive feedback is enough to make a lot of vapers want such tech immediately.

Overall, the Vaporesso Revenger X is a premium-built device, and you can immediately feel it once you grab it. It feels solid and secure, with the all-metal panel providing very decent grip and being very resistant to smudges.



Supported via dual 18650 batteries, Vaporesso Revenger X is capable of running a hit reaching a 220W maximum output power. Such power output is not really topping any benchmark charts but this doesn’t mean it doesn’t offer flagship-grade performance in daily usage. Its updated OMINI Board2.2 chipset offers plenty of future-proofing and being built on this chipset means a higher level of energy-efficiency.

OMINI BOARD 2.2 will be building on-device user behavior model to allow for faster startup (Startup speed: <0.1S) and for more intelligent power allocation. It gets a 12% performance improvement compared to the previous version. Therefore, 220W may not have the same theoretical Cloudage performance as those 300s Watts devices in the current competition, but Revenger X is capable of handling most of demanding high-spec set up under different modes, hassle-free.
The updated chipset provides more functional output modes such as VW(H/N/S), CCW, CCT, VT (NI, TI, SS), TCR (M1, M2), RTC, BYPASS, etc. Its TC range is from 100℃ to 315℃.

Revenger X promises a 16-tier brightness adjustment on its 0.96-inch OLED screen. The sunlight legibility is class-leading with one of the best contrast performances we’ve had in a while. This means you’ll have no problem with seeing what’s happening on the screen, even under bright sunlight outdoor.
The user interface displayed on a bigger 0.96-inch OLED screen will be easier read and more user-friendly to enhance the whole operation with the simplified detail view. The new mobile-specific vibration motor is also targeted at making the best out of the touch buttons and you can adjust the vibration feedback by using the 8-tier Sensory accommodation.



The old Revenger mod supports Quick Charge 2.5A, which is said to fill up to 100% of two depleted battery in an hour. We’re assuming that the coming Revenger X will also adopt this 2.5A Quick charge as well as the equalizing charge system. This system works to remove sulfation when the batteries are undercharged. It brings all cells to an equal state of charge so one cell within a battery won’t become overcharged while another becomes undercharged.
NRG TANK

Despite the excellent performance of the box mod, the NRG tank continues to attract vapers who have come to expect a higher level of vapor production and flavor satisfaction. The NRG tank is a sleek-looking tank that should feel right at home on any of the most popular devices nowadays.
To outperform the competition in the flavor segment and vapor production, the NRG Tank by Vaporesso features an innovative GT Cores that comes in traditional cotton and signature CCELL Ceramic in different resistances, from GT 2 all the way up to GT 8，which cover a wide range of wattages and capabilities. Besides, the EUC replacements have a relatively strong lifespan, and they were sold in economically in 10-packs (most of today’s replacement sets are 5-packs).

WRAPPING IT UP

The Revenger X is a major upgrade for the Vaporesso kit market. The new OMINI BOARD 2.2 chipset with a more functional user interface can easily be considered class-leading. We’ve seen the touch buttons design already, but we really liked Vaporesso’s take on it.
