What Throat Hit Do You Prefer?

Just curious what everyone's thought is on throat hits. I prefer to have a harder throat hit. Throat hit is the thing I care the most about. It goes away sometimes then I do things that seem to bring it back. A gunked up coil and wick seem to reduce throat hit. Not enough liquid on the coil seems to be a factor. I get good throat hit most reliably with a fresh wick and coil. Often replacing just the wick is enough. I seem to be replacing the wick every few days and building a new coil about once a week.

 

Personally, I only got throat hit when I was vaping with some nicotine juice in it. It was about 8-10 mg then when I still felt that throat hit. Now, I don't vape with nicotine juice anymore so I don't get throat hit. I just vape for the flavours and juice except the nicotine one.

I must say though that any juice with menthol can provide some throat hit for me. Others have tried using capsaicin as well just to have that throat hit without the nicotine. All in all, it varies from person to person on what percentage can they achieve that throat hit.

I'm somewhat new, so the terminology is lost on me- but I've noticed something similar- 0% nicotine juice doesn't have the same pull or effect as even 2mg nicotine juice. It just doesn't feel the same to me, and I enjoy the slight bite to a vape hit.

 

if you prefer to harder throat hit ,just add much nicotine and propylene glycol ,they will make you strong throat hit .

A lot also depends on what you class as a throat hit, aswell though don't forget. I'd call the hit the amount of nicotine your vaping whereas I'm sure others would just think about the actual strength of the flavours.

@VirtualBusyBee what kind of throat hit do you prefer? Is it the different flavour or the strength and the hit you get off that, or have you not been vaping long enough yet to ditch the smoking completely yet, so your still after that kick of the nicotine?
