    Hi All,
I am going to try making a 18650 battery mod, I am not sure how big of a box I need.

    Need some ideas

  2. I would recommend the 4X2X1" box from Radio Shack.

It is rather large but gives you room to work and you can then move on to smaller mod boxes from there after you have had some practice with working inside there a time or two.

You can also find adjustable regulators and the 18350s will fit inside it sideways giving one plenty of room to install the switch regulator and atty connector as well.

Thanks I was thinking about turning it into a v.v. and bottomfeeder. I think that might be to much.( for now) I only made a few 3.7 box mods.

VV mods look big bad and scary to make but in reality you are only adding a minor bit more. It's mainly the pre-planning that's very helpful, get a sketch of what you're going to make and then put it all together on breadboard, if it works...you then just have to find a box that's big enough to stuff it all in while small enough to not look like your vaping a telephone booth.
