Vandy vape bonza 1.5 rda

I received Ijoy AI pod system from Vandy vape for the purpose of this review.

Bonza 1.5 rda is the new version of already very popular bonza rda, this atomizer is manufactured and designed by Vandy vape and Vaping Bogan. New version of bonza rda is very similar to previous version of this atomizer, but there is differences that improves bonza atomizer.
I received bonza 1.5 in gun metal color and it looks very nice in my opinion, build quality is good as always with Vandy vape products. You can see some details on the atomizer, on the top cap you can see engravings, same as on the previous version and on the chamber you can see engraved logo. From the bottom of the rda you can see engravings about manufacturer and designer and also you can see serial number. Threads on the 510 connection are good, 510 pin protruding and it is gold plated.







Drip tip:

Atomizer comes with 810 drip tip pre installed and I like this drip tip, I like the color of the drip tip and it is comfortable for me. Height of the drip tip is 7mm, inner diameter is 12mm. In the package you will receive one more drip tip and this one has same dimensions as previous one, but this one is black, personally I like to use the first one. Drip tips that I usually use sits nice on the bonza rda so you can use ur own 810 drip tips. In the package you will also receive 510 drip tip adapter and you can use your own 510 drip tip on this rda if you want.






Top cap and chamber:

On the top cap you can see engraved details, same as on previous version of this rda. Engravings helps with airflow adjustment because in order to ajdust airflow you need to spin the top cap. On the top cap you can see one o ring that holds top cap and the chamber together. If you look inside you can see that top cap has nice conical shape which will improve the flavor. Also you can see how top cap is shaped inside and how airflow adjustment works here on this rda and how you can adjust very precise airflow here.
On the chamber you can see 15 holes on each side. On the bottom of the chamber you can see the locking system and because of that system you will be able to unscrew the atomizer from the mod without any problems. I really like here the locking system, because of this locking system you can always move the chamber in order to align the airflow holes with the coils and also you can take off the atomizer from the mod very easy, very big pro for this.
You can adjust airflow very easy and what you adjsut on one side it will be the same on the other side. We have here so many options with airflow and when airflow is fully open there is a lot of airflow and you can use this rda at high powers without any problems. When you want to reduce the airflow you can do it by closing only one hole at the time and you can reduce it by closing 3 holes at the time and when you adjust your airflow you can just spin the chamber and align the airflow slots with the coil. Considering that we have here honeycomb airflow, airflow is very smooth. On the picture you can see how can you adjust the airflow and how it works.







Base and build deck:

On the base you can see two o rings that holds the chamber and you can see the locking system. Bonza rda has deep juice well, it is 9mm deep and it has very nice juice capacity.
On the build deck you can see 4 screws and screws are good, I didn't have any problems. We have 4 slots for the coil leads. As on the previous version in the middle of the deck you can see two clamps and clamps on this rda are even better, clamps has good texture and because of that clamps will catch the leads better. Considering that we have 4 slots for coil leads, building on this rda is very easy and I think that anyone with rda experience could place the coils here. Also on this rda build deck is not gold plated and chamber covers the base completely.









How this rda works and my thoughts:

I really like that they improved the bonza rda and now bonza 1.5 is even better than previous version, they fixed and improved the rda for sure. First of all, the airflow is improved and it works very good, I like here the locking system because no matter how much you reduce the ariflow you still can align the slots with the coil and still stopper is here and you can unscrew the atomizer from the mod without any problems.
As I already said building here is very easy and anyone who has experience with rda's will place the coils without any problems. In this rda I use clapton coils with 3mm diameter, resistance of the coils is 0.22ohm and I like to use it at 55-60w with half opened airflow. If you like to vape at high power you can definitely use bigger coils and higher power here, when airflow is fully open there is a lot of airflow. Vapor production is good and flavor is very solid, or I can say very good for rda that has side airflow.
You can use this rda with regular mod and it works good with regular mod because you ca drip through the drip tip without problems, you just need to be a little bit careful not to over drip and you will be fine, this atomizer will not leak because of the side airflow, so this will be another pro for this rda.
You can aslo use this rda with squonk mods, in the package you will receive bf pin, it also works very good and as long as you are a little bit careful as I said earlier it will not leak. Basically, all I can say that bonza 1.5 is very good rda and if you liked previous version of this rda you will like this one for sure.


- Cons

Bonza 1.5 works just fine, I honestly can't say anything bad about this rda, they made really good rda that works as it shoud. Only con that I can pick is that in the package you will not receive the coils (if we can pick this as a con).
