Well, got bored again and put together another illuminated FL touch mod, this time a purple one!

It was designed for use with my CE2XL tank mod. Like the V1, it is illuminated by a bi-colored 3mm LED. The basic body was a 3-AAA aluminum 9-LED flashlight. I gutted it and recycled the PCB to build this mod.

I used both the male and female connectors from a 510 extension, the male for the touchpad, the female for the batty connector. I used the original PCB to mount all the components, including a MOSFET, 3mm bicolor LED, and several resistors.

The results are, I think, quite nice. It is designed to run on either an 18500 or 14500 battery @3.7v. Compared with the V1, which uses an 18350 batt, this one will give me a lot more time between charges.

The result is right handsome, don't you think?

This time I went for a more muted illumination. I buried the LED under close to an inch of crystal clear hotglue and aimed it sideways. Still it gives the tank a nice glow.

Another nice mod, and it vapes great!
