Nice video Smokie. That duracell looks much more compact than my APC pack for which I originally bought my passthrough to vape with on the go.I use a pda pouch for a similar effect. Vape on Friend!
Thanks, I do not know how many different PT you can use with this charger, because my other two PT, need 2000 ma. Any PT with a battery attached to them will work very well.
Hi Smokey..Great Idea..But..would you or anyone know if it possible to put a +5v reg inline after the (cr10440)battery? ? i have the batt bypassed rite now and like the 4.5v im getting thru the usb port on the comp.. but was wondering if i can get close to that using the duracell pwr pack??
Your PT has this battery attached, you want to keep it working with the the power pack, because you will never lose that 4.5 V will keep that 10440 charged at Max peck 4.5 V to 5.2 V all the time. And your charger, USB port on your PC, car adapter where ever you plug in that 10440 battery, is at 5 to 5.2 V Volts. That is no problem, 5V is ok to use.
That's great Smokie, and for the DIY people you can get this pack Battery holder: AA x 4 with USB interface connector and Belt clip ("On" / "OFF" power switch) - RoHS Compliant and convert it to series, use 4 14500, add Ti PTN04050C Boost Converter (5 samples free) add a led if you want, plug in the PT minus the in-line batt (don't need it anymore) and you get one nice 5V wired vape that's portable and will last for a loooog time before you need to recharge.
It is already in series. Why not just use it as intended and add 4 cheap and reliable NiMH Rechargeable AA Size, 1.2V 2600mAh batts for about $6 and be good to go with an avg. 4.8V and a peak of 5.6V (when the batteries are fully charged). NiMH Rechargeable Cell: AA Size, 1.2V 2600mAh -Button Top (1Pc) Four 14500s in series would be about 15V, what's the 'Boost Converter' for?
