$200 and not even VV?! It looks like a SB box mod..The tank detractor and extra aluminum equates to a $120 increase in price?

EDIT: the tanks doesn't even retract!

haha i was just gonna say 200 bucks and its not even vv . Fire button placement would be a bit awkward to hold as well .You need to press it with your index finger or pinky.

I've had a lot of mods with a wide range of button placements. You get used to it fast unless it's in a really terrible place (Roughstack). I think this one would be middle or ring finger.

All in all I really like it, but the $200 pisses me off. It means I'll never own one, because I'm not willing to pay that for this particular mod. LoL.

I'm sure some people will purchase it. There's an ass for every seat. The wooden VW mod from nhaler sold out quickly, so there must be a lot of people with more money than brains.

  8. That was actually something new, though. Don't get me wrong, they'll sell some of these, but not as many as if the price was around $150.

It's the same thing as that cock from something Mountain on VF and the Phoenix. You can choose to sell 5 at $30, or 50 at $15. The markup is just bad business, not because it's skeezy, but because it'll hurt your sales.

Really like look. $200 and a carto tank is a deal breaker for me. Almost as foolish as the 2+ times asking prices on used GGTS's and Ody's.

Where are you buying an GGTS and ODY? Everywhere I've looked that combo would be $350! Don't get me wrong, this thing is overpriced, but your comparison is f'd up.

I haven't bought either yet. I've had my eye on them, but missed the pre-order. ECF classifieds prices (besides here and there, not really sure where I would look) on that stuff is through the roof. Up to $300 + for Ody V2's, sometimes with various expansion kit pieces and GGTS's have asking prices at or around $400. Far more than the original price if you are able to by new. Right now there is a GGTS described as fair condition for $400.

I don't disagree. Just too clarify, after owning the Penelope for a few days I think the GG stuff is high quality and worth his asking price. I like it so much I'm planning to get a second. I would gladly pay the prices these sell for on COV if I can catch the next pre-order. The point I was trying to make is the that the used market prices for these things are crazy. I suppose they are worth this since, people are willing to pay it. However, when I know the original price is $220 for a GGTS and $120 for the ODY, $300 and $400 just seems insane.

Not trying to stir things up on here, I concede that I made a bad analogy. :smiley-signs081:

Now that I've thoroughly derailed this thread, I'll bring it back to the cleanvape. I took another look at this and really like the aesthetics of it. It's very sleek and clean looking. I just haven't had great luck with carto style tanks and can't see spending $200 to find out how this one works. If it were bottom fed device like the REO and still set up flush I would be much more tempted.

I like them all, if I can afford them is another story but I would rather pay for 1 good thing than a bunch of others. I like the GG's and this and the Rough Stacks, actually I have 2 of them and they take a beating and keep going. The button you get used to the same as anything if you choose to. So yes I am the fanny that will sit in any seat I choose and like it.

    Ya think?

$200 in this day & time? For a 5v? See above pic^^. I just don't see it. Maybe for a uber nice custom wood with bursts in the grain and a 5v switch, meter etc. Provari is 50+- cheaper and VMAX's can be had for $100. My ugly black box is still a daily vaper and it was only $40 so I'm not bending over.
I'm waiting for someone to make a nice cell phone / vv pv with a serious battery. A nice dual 1.5ghz Android monster with all the goodies and a on screen dial a volt.
    I'd be so in. [IMG]
