The CYPRUS vv . This one was a pain to build. It is a single 18650 Boost variable voltage copper tube mod hence the name "Cyprus" (Cyprus is where copper originated from ) .Voltage rannge is 3.2-6.7v This is most likely bigger than most people would like at close to 8" long but it feels nice and solid and functions beautifully . As big as it is it was still a tight fit inside with all the components .Everything is built pretty much as small as possible internally on home etched PCB .Heres whats inside it :

    Ti PTN4050C boost circuit
    DS-18689-100 Digital potentiometer
    Ptc fuse
    3 tact switches
    3A diode
    2 SMD tantalum 100uf caps
    10k 1206 1%
    100k resistor
1 main 1.5A mom. switch (may replace with a nicer looking one when it comes in )
Voltage indicator with tinted plexi cover
    18650 aw IMR
    3/4" copper pipe (inner)
    3/4" copper couplers (outer)
    3/4" copper plug (top)
3/4" copper end cap (bottom w/vent holes)

The digital pot has 2 tact switchs ,one to control voltage up and another voltage down .Voltage settin is stored by holding the fire button for 1-2 sec The voltage indicator reads the atty voltage . Some have said there may be problems with the indicator locking up at low voltages with the digital pot so i added another tact switch that is recessed and pushed with a pin to reset the voltage indicator if need be . I have not had any probs so far . I redid the pcb for the extra componants off the 4050 from whats in the pic . In the pic i mounted the PCB's on the side of the 4050 but on the revisision i made a PCB that the 4050 holes go thru and solder up . All the extra componants (minus dig pot which is on its own pcb )go on that pcb and it takes up no additional space . As for the positive battery terminal i used a acetal plastic ring with PCB in front of it . The acetal is a couple fitting kind of so the inner pipe locks it in place . From the positive back is insulated with viynl to give extra protection from shorting the batt . Batt connector is a sealed 510 . Still got a little more polishing to do and make a better lock for the - end cap .Works flawlessly from 3.4v - 6.7v . It may go above or below that but i havent checked yet . Changing voltage is smooth and pretty fast .

Update : After vapin all day on it i learned a few nice features . When setting the voltage instead of counting 2 seconds with the main sw pressed ,i noticed after the first blink of the display it is set so it like notify you that the voltage has been stored in memory . Cool feature and didnt even mean to do it . Also if holding the voltage up or down button it will go to the highest or lowest voltage . The one think about the display i dont like is that it has 3 digiits when loading but only 2 digits in use . Thats causes it to look a little off center when in use since only the right 2 digits are on . Not a big issue .

I also added one additional feature to the top cap with inset batt 510 connector and that is i put a plug on it . This way i can make more caps with different battery connectors . Basically i can just unplug a 510 and throw a 306 or 801 etc cap on in seconds . I also wanted to make a main harness plug where i can disconnect the indicator from the mod whenever i want . Space is a issue with that though

    Heres the pics .

haha . This one may be a MAN only mod as woman usually dont like the big mods and this one does dwarf a GGTS with addons .

you will never know unless you let a non-male try it :) seems the length is not an issue for Lady M.

yeh, yeh - go ahead and insert your size doesn't/does matter jokes here: __________________________
