Speed Steeping

My method of speed steeping. Not a new method, but, one that I feel works really well.

Cheers I just need a beaker now

 

I used a heavy based shot glass until I got my glassware. I works good, but it doesn't pour well as a beaker. I used a syringe to suck it out and put it in the bottle. I felt like I was losing enough residual to pay for my $8.00 beaker. But it can be done without a beaker.

Yeh shot glass will do probably better then my current method of vaping it straight away then enjoying more the next day

 

Yeah I have always used the povo version of this.

I put the bottles after mixing in some just below boiling water, 30 ml bottles only.

Take them out after 8 minutes, shake put them back in and then leave em there.

Then I vape em.

 

My 30ml bottles went wonky when I did that. All distorted. I was also afraid of what the heat is releasing into the juice. When I was over in the sand pit, the bottle water that set out in the heat too long was disposed of be.comse they said the heat .comse carcinogens to be released from the petroleum based bottles. Wonder what the American government paid for that study?

I have always noticed that a casserole or curry or spag bog .comce tastes a lot better on next day leftovers .. steeped I guess.
thats always steeped in the fridge ..

 

Your right about that. I never thought of it that way. But that stuff is better the next day.

I was thinking about this today. What about one of these usb cup warmer dodads?

They heat up to 50/60 deg.

MIght be like a good overnight steep.

 

I wouldn't be leaving it in plastic bottles with that cup warmer thing.

 

i havent done any DIY juices, but I found my old crappy PC speakers which i hated be.comse they hum, so i lay it on its back, took the front cover off and placed a plastic bottle right on the speaker cone.
30 minutes of Beastie Boys "Sabotage" seemed to really shake things up.

I probably could cut the speaker open so it just has the magnetic coil... less noise and a better fit for the bottle.

I love the home hacks that people come up with. Buying proper tools just seems wrong

can someone explain seed steeping ?
ive heard of people leaving a bit of the old juice in the bottle.. i dont see how this would help speed up steeping though.
