Smok Trinity Alpha Kit Review — Anything Different From Lost Vape Orion?

It seems like that Smok speeds up in releasing new products recently. Today we’re here to check the new smok pod system kit — Smok Trinity Alpha Kit. Before we start, May I ask that does anyone here have purchased Lost Vape Orion Q or DNA pod kit yet? I’m sure about that you guys know a little about Lost Vape Orion series. Well you may find some reflections of Orion kit on this Trinity Alpha.

The Battery Design


Just like what I said above, you will find some reflections of Lost Vape Orion series on this Trinity Alpha kit. Maybe some of yous guys wonder like this “what the hell is going on with this kit” when you see this picture. LOL.

The whole battery is made of zinc alloy material with carefully polished surface process. So you can find this kit is so glittering and shiny under the light. Rainbow color is still the traditional color selection in pod kits. On the both side of the battery is a way like resin pattern design which offers smooth touching feel. But I’m little afraid that It’s easy to leave the fingerprints on the surface and middle metal frame. The truth is that what I concern about is right. On the other hand, Colorful and shiny appearance is gorgeous and adorable obviously. Well keep this in mind that don’t leave scratches on this kit.

Big fire button gives more conveniences in cooperation. Compare to Lost Vape Orion, there’s a power mode function in this trinity alpha kit with an individual press button to adjust. Hard / Normal/ Soft mode you can choose to use. And correspond wattage is 10w-25w.

Meanwhile, there’s a safety protection on the pod position — The pod cartridge lock button. Different from the magnetic connection design on most pod kit, But it’s the same to Lost Vape Orion series. Special lock button ensures safer vaping if you have a baby who always play around you when you’re vaping. Personally I’d like to name it Baby proof lock.



The Pod Design


The pod cartridge also comes with some special design by the way. Pull-then-refill port makes refilling become easier. Compare to the screw port design on Lost vape Orion, Obviously the pull and refill switch on trinity alpha is simpler and more efficient. And you can also see the air hole on the pod which beside the refill port.



The coil design still inherits from smok nord, that means the trinity alpha pod is compatible with the coils of smok nord. Nord mesh 0.6ohm coil and nord mesh MTL 0.8ohm coil included in the package for various vaping experience and needs.

Honestly speaking, Breakthrough and innovation are what we want to see on the vaping market. Of course, we need some mature technology in vaping kits instead of semi finished products. As for the Lost Vape Orion, Most vape lovers all glad to see this unique design pod kit. For now, Smok tries to learn and reproduce this kind pod kit. Meanwhile, they also make their own adjustments and changes to make this unique pod kit become more easy-to-use. People may not understand why Smok is going to take the road of reproduce cause they completely have the ability to create and innovate. I don’t know either. But as for us, vape lovers and users, Where there’s a change, we should applaud and support.

Leave the same appearance design aside, Smok trinity alpha kit is a brilliant pod kit without any doubt. Special and representative coil design ensures the great performance on this kit. By the way, don’t forget the built-in 1000mAh battery. Cause you can spend more than one day vaping time. Honestly I hope the humanized pull-then-fill design will be adopted on more and more pod kits. Trust me, you won’t like to try the silicone plug port any longer after you use Smok trinity alpha kit.
