SMOK Thallo Kit Or Thallo S Kit? Which Do You Like Better?

Hey guys. This time I'm gonna introduce two latest pod mod kits by SMOK – the Thallo & Thallo S. You can make a comparison between them to see which one you like better.

Let's start with the SMOK Thallo Kit first. Moreover, the look of the Thallo is incredible with a black chassis and a matching leather grip with fluid patterns. To make operating the Thallo effortless, there is a 0.69" display screen on the control face with a full-color user interface. Here you will see a battery bar and data such as battery percentage level, current output power, a puff counter, a puff time indicator, atomizer resistance, and more.

The Thallo features the latest IQ-XS chipset by SMOK and, as a result, can achieve up to 80W of power from a 3000mAh integrated battery. Plus, the output is changeable in the range of 1 to 80W via two adjustment buttons that navigate the user interface on the display screen. A USB-C charging port also means that the recharging process is as easy as ever and a cable is included in the package. Another benefit of the new chipboard is that the Thallo pod kit fires within an incredible 0.001s, so there are no noticeable delays. And, the chipset integrates many safety features such as low voltage protection, short circuit protection, and 8-second over-puff protection.

In addition to the powerful battery that allows long vape times, refills are also less frequent due to 5mL Thallo RPM 2 Pods that tightly fit the mod with powerful magnets and also feature an easy refill system. There are two different versions of this cartridge: the included Thallo RPM 2 and an optional Thallo RPM. In the package, you will find both an RPM 2 0.16ohm mesh coil for DTL style vaping and an RPM 2 DC 0.6ohm MTL coil for nic salts. The mesh coil produces dense vapor, intense flavor, is best at 40W of power, but can be used between 25 and 50W. The 0.6ohm MTL DC is designed with dual coils, has a large surface for fast heating, and a 2mm inner hole for excellent wicking of the cotton. With a power range of 12 to 25W, this particular head is perfect for higher nicotine vape juices and an MTL style puff.

Now we come to the SMOK Thallo S Kit. It has a grip that is made from high-quality leather for ergonomics and features beautiful patterns that we would call psychedelic and pleasing to the eye. The control face looks to have the same identical screen and battery level, current power output, atomizer resistance, and much more are shown in full-color for crystal clear viewing. Dual-adjustment buttons directly underneath the display make changing settings a breeze.

The Thallo-S works with the same IQ-XS chipboard as the integrated battery version but features 100W of power for a more satisfying vape experience. This is because it uses a single external 21700 battery that has a whopping 5000mAh capacity for fewer recharges and longer vaping times. The cell is inserted into the mod by way of a bottom flip cover and, with a Type-C USB port, recharges are fast and safe. You can also use a 18650 type battery, but you'll need to insert an adapter sleeve into the bay. Another cool aspect of the Thallo-S chipset is that it has a power mode, so you may set the output anywhere between 1 and 100W and the firing response is also less than 0.001s, so vapor production is instant. A multitude of safety features ensure you stay safe while using this new pod kit.

The Thallo-S uses Thallo RPM 2 Pods, but is also compatible with Thallo RPM Pods, the details of the latter are yet to be published. Each Thallo RPM 2 Pod can hold 5mL of vape juice and features effortless refills. You can choose whether you want to use the setup as an MTL or DTL device by choosing which one of two coil options. Pre-installed is the 0.16ohm RPM 2 coil that works with standard e-liquids that have a nicotine strength below 6mg. This head fires in the range of 25 to 50W, but is best at 40W of power. Or, if you enjoy mouth-to-lung vaping with nicotine salt based e-liquid, you can easily swap out the coil with the included DC 0.6ohm coil that works between 12 and 25W and has a stricter airflow.
