Hey guys. This time we are gonna make a comparison between the SMOK RPM80 and the Wismec R80. If you are still hesitating between the two, I think this article may help you. OK, here we go!

Starting with the SMOK RPM80 Kit. Powered by a built-in 3000mAh battery and driven by the latest IQ-80 chipboard, it has a maximum output wattage of 80W and a plethora of safety features. The whole device is operated via a square fire button and two adjustment buttons, charging is done by way of a micro USB port. In addition, there is a 0.96" color display screen to show all your vaping data, including power, voltage output, atomizer resistance, puff number, last puff time and the battery level, you are also able to customize the color to your preference.

Pod wise, the kit provides two options which include an RPM Pod and an RGC Pod. To ensure you never run out of e-juice, these pods are transparent so you may observe juice levels. Each pod can store up to 5ml of e-liquid and is easily refilled via a top filling port, but the coils they work with are different. The RPM Pod uses the existing RPM coil range and comes with a pre-installed 0.4ohm mesh coil, while the RGC Pod houses a 0.17ohm NexMESH conical coil, and it also allows you to adjust the airflow.

Moving on to the Wismec R80 Pod Mod Kit. Powered by a single 18650 battery, it can fire up to 80W and last for a long vaping time. Charges are done via a Type-C USB port on the bottom of the device, a full charge won't take too long thanks to its fast-charging capability of 2A. To operate and monitor the device, there is an intuitive control face on the side of the device. From top to bottom, you can see a triangular fire button, a 0.96" TFT color screen, and an adjustment button. The screen will show all your user data clearly and it allows you to change the display color.

As for the pod, it has a whopping capacity of 4ml and is refilled via a bottom filling port. With purchase, you get a pre-installed 0.3ohm WV-M Mesh Coil and a 0.8ohm WV01 Single Coil. Both of them have an airflow control ring on the base, this means it's possible to tailor the airflow to your preference. Another big plus of R80 is that you can use an adaptor to allow standard 510 fitment tanks to be installed, this greatly adds extra flexibility to use this device. And you can choose if you want the 510 adaptor in the kit.

So, which kit would you choose?
