Slovak PM Fico agrees program with potential coalition partners

BRATISLAVA Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Tuesday his leftist Smer party and three other parties have signed an agreement on a governing program as part of talks on forming a coalition, following an election earlier this month.


Fico has been holding talks with opposition parties Siet (Net) and Most-Hid (Bridge) along with the Slovak National Party (SNS) since Monday on forming a coalition after his ruling party lost its parliamentary majority in a March 5 election.
