I was driving home last night from a wake (not pertinent) and I was mulling over in my head possible ways to make good sleeve for the I06 in my UFSs, I absolkutely adore them in my tanks but the sleeves I had made would hold for a while but would sometimes loosen and also pull off with the drip tip occasionally when I was trying just to add juice. This was now acceptable!!! I have been using the sleeves from previously gutted stainless CE2s (for their ceramic cup, their only good use IMO) in my UFSs and I knew it would have to be a similar piece, the juice will work on any other substance. I started thinking about my stainless 901s, too, but they are a smidgen short but it really opened up my eyes.........so here's what I have tried and is working so far.

I used a pipe cutter about 5mm up, squeezing the sleeve tight, and went around twice to put a good size crimp in the sleeve but not cutting it, its rocking tight on the I06. The problem remains that it still may slip off and that's where the 901 came in -- drill a small pilot hole in the sleeve about 2.5mm up and use a very short self-tapping screw into the I06 near the base, its below the seal so any air or juice leakage is immaterial. What I haven't tried yet is what I originally thought, rings at 2.5 and 7.5 mm up with the hole between them, that would be the most secure and air-tight.

I rarely experiment on the mechanical side of vaping but I thought this was worth a try for all you tank lovers out there!:D

Fuck VF, I won't post it there, not eligible for a f'ing xmas contest.....
