Prodigy V2 Switch Need Help

  2. I've never used the prodigy v2 but frequent the puresmoker forums.
    Hm well looked up what I was thinking about, but I think it's a different switch assembly.. your switch is mechanical right? Do you have any noalox?

    Try cleaning all the threads with alcohol to remove the old noalox. Then reapply fresh noalox to the threads. Also take the tiny copper ring and either clean with very fine 0000 steel wool or lightly sand with very fine sand paper or an emery board. Clean the atty connection well with alcohol. Do NOT use noalox in this area. Clean the other small switch pieces with alcohol and reassemble.

    Please let me know if this works or you need more help.

    Can it be put together without the actual button so as to have access to the pins the copper ring are made to touch?

    If so do a complete check first.

    Put it all together with the battery and top cap then check for voltage at the bottom pin (contact) of the switch housing. Then check for continuity from the top pin (contact) to the center, positive terminal of the atty connector.
