Following the release of the 2021 NFL schedule on Wednesday evening, Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II said the team will once again wear its Color Rush uniform this season. To buy more Steelers Jerseys with cheap price, you can visit steelerjersey.com official website.

“We’ll certainly have a Color Rush game,” Rooney told Steelers team reporter Missi Matthews on Wednesday night. “We’ll identify that one soon, once we digest the whole schedule.”The Steelers are 6-1 while wearing their Color Rush uniforms, which includes wins over the Baltimore Ravens in 2016 and 2020; Tennessee Titans in 2017; Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots in 2018; and Miami Dolphins in 2019. Their lone loss came against the Buffalo Bills in 2019.

The Steelers have only worn their Color Rush uniforms in Pittsburgh, and this year’s home slate includes games against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 19, Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 26, Denver Broncos on Oct. 10, Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 17, Chicago Bears on Nov. 8, Detroit Lions on Nov. 14, Ravens on Dec. 5, Titans on Dec. 19 and Cleveland Browns on Jan. 3.

Seeing as the only time the Steelers didn’t wear their Color Rush uniforms at night was last season when their scheduled Thanksgiving game against the Ravens was postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak within Baltimore’s locker room, it’s probably a safe bet they’ll be worn again under the lights this fall.

That means that Pittsburgh will likely wear the uniforms against Seattle on Sunday Night Football or Chicago or Cleveland on Monday Night Football. The Color Rush uniforms, which feature gold block numbers, all-gold stripes on the sleeves and black pants, have become both a fan and player favorite over the years.

“I love them. I really love them,” cornerback Joe Haden said last season. “They look sick and we play well in them. You look good, you feel good and you play good. I just really love them and am excited we get to wear them.”
