hi folks - ive had it in the back of my mind to try and understand the way ph levels of ejuices affects the way flavours are tasted and the way nicotine in absorbed by vapers

have a read below and you will see that tobacco companies raised the ph levels of their products with additives so the nicotine would hit harder - that's what made marlboro such a market leader

for example cigars have a very high ph and thats why you can absorb the nicotine very easily in the mouth without inhaling - whereas with cigs a lung inhale is needed

pg has a low ph level and vg has a higher ph level - so that means that juices that are higher in vg will carry the nicotine better and deliver it more efficiently into your system

im no expert here - but i do know some juices hit me harder than others even tho they are both say 18mg - maybe this is why?

Hydrochloric acid is the answer. A component of nicotine sprays to increase the PH, which in turn increases the absorption rate.. I would think going that route with our juice wont work, but I dont know.

Its well worth reading the attached file. It mentions that overdose could harm a child when ingested, and it advocates duel use for use when smoking is not permitted. It also states these issues are not considered relevant when granting a Marketing.comthorization (licence). Also They do not consider it necessary for Pharmaceutical intervention when being sold over the counter, paving the way for the stuff to be sold from supermarkets.

Good point, back to the drawing board!!

I have read in the past that the acid is used to increase the nicotine uptake in a shorter period. It seems I was wrong!!! Just found this.
