    Hey guys,

Name is Ryan and I'm from Melbourne. I did try vaping about 4 years ago, but I don't think the technology was really at a point where it was enough to get me off the smokes.

I just had a crappy pen like device from China and tasted burnt. I didn't know anything about coils and stuff back then so just associated that as what vaping was...

Well I'm here to give it a second chance. My partner and I smoke quite a lot. We need to save our pennies and I want us both to be healthy, so I just ordered the iTaste MVP 2.0 for both us and her mother in law.

Also got the Kanger Protank 3 mini for us as I heard the iClear is not the best.

I still really don't know alot about this scene and would like to understand it. Mods and dripping atomisers and all that stuff confuses the hell out of me.

Anyway.... I'll get there eventually... Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Look forward to chatting to you all.

    Same here!

Where 'there'? To the point of understanding the full range of mods and tanks, plus all the exciting new stuff coming out (which would require constant research)? Or more, up to a 'comfort point' where you can really look forward to having a vape?

Personally, I'm not even trying to attain the first, and have pretty much achieved the second. :)

Welcome! Hope it all goes well for you, and you've come to the right place for advice and support.

As far as the equipment you're referring to, I have found the Innokin iClear 30S 'Type S' to be a nice tank, reliable, good vapor and flavor. The only complaint I'd have of it is that it does not offer a replaceable drip tip on top. Generally though I prefer the Kanger tanks, especially the Mega Aerotank. But hey.. try a few things (I personally have 3 different types of tube based mods as well as 2 eGo threaded batteries, and about 7-8 different tank types!) and find whatever works for you and yours. ;)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I'll definitely see what works for myself, and play around with a few different tanks and units.

@vaporific, if you unscrew and take off the metal drip tip that came with your iclear 30s you can fit pretty much any standard 510 drip tip on it. If a particular drip tip you want to use is a bit loose you can put a slightly thicker O ring on it, or, if you don't have any compatible spare O rings laying around, take the original O ring off and wind a couple of winds of dental floss in the groove for the O ring, put the O ring back on and it'll fit nice and snug.

You might only have to do that with the odd drip tip though, pretty much every drip tip I have fits snugly as is on my 30s's :nevreness:

Sorry for taking your thread OT, but good luck vorpal ;)
