Finally Completed and it works great. I would have liked to put it in a smaller enclosure but I settled on this one. I searched for months and couldn't find anything I liked. Next one will be smaller. The next to last photo shows the button I would have liked to use but it was too massive. I refrained from using a Digital Pot because I need a 200 ohm trimmer and the D.P.'s lowest value is 10k ohms. Having done this with my side x side mod, I know that adjusting voltage would be pretty crappy as the increment jumps are pretty large. Wow, just wow. Felt like I was reading Geek! Oops, I mean Greek. LOL Couldn't understand most of what you were working with but cool functionality. Almost reminds me of some of my brothers old ham radio equipment.
Sure Skorne, Making a custom enclosure would have been ideal. I would have liked the depth about a 1/2" less. It's a trade off when selecting stock boxes. Very frustrating finding a good one. The box is larger than I would have liked. Wiring...... needs some squaring off... ya think!
Wow I know that my knowledge of wiring anything is less then spectacular but my god that is a ton of wires. I don't recognize those batteries what are they out of and what kind of capacity do they have? Also with the usb charging is it possible to use usb 3.0 ports for faster charge times?
Holy crap break that looks like a PC power supply in there. Lol How much does that sucker weigh? Another nice build. Bams needs a ZEN BAM!!
Wow! You made an Arduino ecig. I was talking about this almost a year ago, but I completely lack the coding ability to do it. I even bought an Arduino which has sat in a box since then. I made the LED blink. That's the extent of my coding abilities. Good job, Breaktru!
Awesome Breaktru!!! Way beyond my capabilities but awesome just the same, I am using your Ejuice Calculator though.
Building something like that is way out of my league but so is putting together an e-juice calculator. However I did figure out how to use your calculator so I could probably figure out how to use that mod. Just let me know where I can download one.
I left the wires long for easy removal because I maybe moving it out of that box into another. They are Li-Po rated 20c, 1000mah each batteries. Much more amperage than the Li-Ions. Comparison: 1.5C for ultra/sure/trust/-fire 2C for AW ICR (Li-ion) 3C for BDL 10440 IMR (Li-Mn) 5C for BDL 14500 IMR (Li-Mn) 8C for AW 14500 and 16340 IMR (Li-Mn) 10C for AW 18650 IMR (Li-Mn) 10C for AW LiFePO4 20C for Li-Po USB 3.0 wouldn't make it charge faster because it is being charged by the charger circuit which is 500mah. A 1000mah charging circuit would be faster. This is what I'm using to charge the batteries: I didn't want to use my PC or my laptop USB ports in case something went wrong so I am using a 1amp output wall adapter to power the USB charger:
Sounds pretty cool man. I also would definitely NEVER use a usb port from anything you might like to charge an e-cig
