I have seen several mods incorporate "juice wells" for over dripping and looks.

What makes the best drip well?

I have seen some with a plastic or metal cup and I have seen some that appear to have a brass or aluminum "Grommet" around the connector.

Any information on these wells would be much appreciated.

Hey Big Papa Hoyt, i have seen Crown bolt washes at home depot that would make a great drip well. they have several types to choose from like brass copper and nickel plated. A little modifications you can fit an atomizer connection in there very snug.

Yup finishing washers work great . I like to use #14 when i can but #12 with a little filing work too when #14's are too wide

1/2" PEX adaptors from HD work nice too

Amen on finishing washers. I like the brass ones myself, but the stainless is probably better for upkeep.

I'd worry about having those subjected to too much heat, Hope.

if was the #14 would really not even touch the connector/atty so heat shouldn't be an issue.

Point taken. I'd still prefer metal, but some might like plastic on plastic for their box mods.

btw the nickel plated finishing washers can be found at any home depot or lowes .The 14's fit the connector perfectly . The 12's are smaller then the connector so they need to be drilled out so the connector can fit through . The 12's are better for standard battery box mods since the outside diameter is the same size as a 3 aa box mod . The 14's if used on a 3aa box will stick out past the edge by just a hair . I used the 14's on my darknyte mod and temptress mod. The 14's i got though were from true value and they have a deeper well then the home depot ones

I normally will use metal as well . Plastic in that region tends to wear down causing the connector to loosen up after time .
