like to start by saying how good is this forum ,seems everyone's quite chilled and relaxed "must be the vaping"
I'm part way through quitting the cigs for a second time "3 yrs prior". On the champix which worked well the first time
But this time around not as affective, tried a few ecigs from 7/11 tasted alright but needed more of a draw and flavour hit , after a few weeks research. ,not someone to do anything by halfs so jumped in with first kit (subox mini),coils, dual batteries ,doublers, needles (syringes I already have. For child panadol) ,charger , bulk pg and vg ( I'm not going to be using any nic at all . Run a busy kitchen during day so can't wait to make my own mixes

Good Luck Berowra and don't stress if you have a few stinkies in the first week while swapping over.

Why no nicotine? I think it will be a lot harder if you don't have nicotine but I wish you luck all the same :)

I started with no nic, still going strong over 6 months later...... Using nic is not the only way to succeed.

Yes of course, I realise that. I didn't say it was. I said it will make it harder :)

If you have a strong mindset and really want to give up smoking you probably don't even need to vape at all. If you're not
vaping nicotine, the only thing you are really substituting is the habits/rituals you've formed while smoking.

Nicotine itself may be addictive but it isn't all that harmful. If you are going to risk vaping all those flavours, you may aswell
get some satisfaction out of it and make things a bit easier on yourself. I personally don't see the point in vaping no nic juice
.....but each to their own. I totally respect other peoples decisions and was just asking the question out of curiosity.

I was curious too, and agree with Tara that vaping flavours is the unknown risky part of vaping, rather than the nicotine.

But I also wish Berower Vaper all the best. :)

I'm also on champix which I used before and it's stopped most of the cravings like for nicotine I'm using the vape more so for
The act then anything. The unknown risky can't be any worse than chemicals in analogue I've only used like 1 tank today but least it tasted like red bull not a analog

Do what works for you mate and an analogue while you are getting off the habit isn't the end of the world.

Nice to see someone in Berowra vape, used to live there, now up near Woy Woy.

Yep, each to their own, I buy super low NIC juice for no other reason than it contains nicotine!
I think it's more about the hand to mouth motion rather than nicotine myself, sub-ohm vaping means I need zero NIC, my trigger is obviously the throat hit.

Just to give an indication on quantity, I sip between 1.5 and 2L of spring water a day ... helps with flushing toxins as well ;)

    Oh right :)
I was wondering out of curiosity but also I was concerned that perhaps you had come across or been given some information that
caused you to avoid it. Like the others have said, its all about doing what works for you and I think you are doing really well so far.

Sounds fair enough and I wish you all the best with it. :)

Just want to say though, that if you start craving cigarettes after you finish the Champix just be aware that adding nicotine to your juice might be a good option to prevent you eventually falling back into smoking.

Hopefully you wont need to though. Good luck! :)

Welcome Berowra vaper. I had five goes at Champix - every time I stopped taking them two days later I wanted a smoke. I started vaping in April 2014, and I have found that until recently I needed the nic content in the juice. However now I find on my second attempt to wean myself off the nic I am having more success. I now prefer to make a huge cloud of vapour than get the throat hit and buzz of nic. Good luck in your journey. We are all here to help and support you!
