I have a dozen X 30ml bottles of concentrate sitting in a cardboard box in a deep, dark, wooden drawer.
Been there over two years and nothing wrong with them.

They generally have a 12 month expiry date. I'm not sure I'd use them after that long, be.comse you're inhaling them, and bugs can live in lots of different things, including concentrates. You can't always taste cooties :p

If you keep them in the fridge, keep them in glass. Smells from your fridge can get through plastic, possibly making your lovely concentrate taste like last month's old cheese. Best kept in a cool dark place, like a drawer or cupboard.

Mrs G, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the concentrates on grocery store shelves have been there for more than 12 months?

True flea, but the ones we use for vaping generally have a 12 month expiry date on them. Once you open the bottle in the less than sterile environment like your lounge, kitchen or study, you've exposed the contents to airborne bad things, which can contaminate your concentrate with bugs you don't want to inhale into your body. It's like everything. There are risks, but if you are aware of the risks, and you choose to take the risk, that's okay. If you unknowingly expose yourself to risks that could be mitigated (i.e. like using the stuff within the recommended 'best before' date) then that's a bit of a shame. I wouldn't do it.. they're cheap as chips to buy and fresh is best for something I'm going to inhale into my lungs. YMMV of course.

All true Mrs. G. My problem is my concentrate supplier has disappeared (Vaping Cobra).
I'm not used to waiting on the postman when I can just drive up the road to pay & pick up.

That's the trouble with living in the Nanny State. :)

mrs gruffy i had always thought that be.comse pg is an antibacterial and be.comse flavours come in pg that there was very little risk of contamination from airborne bacteria once the bottle had been opened - but that is just info ive read on avf ages ago
