Coloured Glass Tanks from TechFast

Anyone had any experience ordering the colourful glass tanks for various atty's at FastTech? I have an inkling that they may be sprayed instead of actual coloured glass. Anybody weighing in on this topic with first hand experience is appreciated, however off-hand and presumptuous comments are also welcomed.


Not that it matters, but I was thinking of getting some for the comtilus Mini and Atlantis. It would take the appearance customisation of my unit to a whole new level!

 

Fasttech are very hit and miss it all depends on the supplier and they don't give you that information lol

 

I doubt they are sprayed. The reviews on the other glass coloured tanks seem positive.

Those are for the comtalis but. They should be good i think.

 

I'd be willing to bet that it's actual coloured glass.
Whoever is making them is just buying coloured glass tubes by the meter and chopping them up.
That would be cheaper than spraying a clear glass tube and then chopping it.

How good a chopping job they do is another question...

 

Whatever you think of Fasttech the comments and discussions are ruthless when it comes to the reality of the product they are talking about. Read through them to get a real untainted view of it.
