Cargolux International Airlines (Cargolux) issued a statement in recent days. It announces that Cargolux and its subsidiary Cargolux Italy have decided to stop transporting disposable vapes. This is the company's response to growing public concern about the harmful effects of disposable vapes.

Cargolux says in a statement that disposable vapes pose a significant risk to human health, Especially to youth. Because disposable vapes "given their targeted marketing with attractive flavors." Besides, these products have been banned in other countries due to potential threats to the environment. "These devices contain lithium batteries which, as they are not recyclable, become an environmental risk if not properly disposed of."

Cargolux CEO, Richard Forson, hopes this will help reduce the supply of these products.

"The ban on transporting disposable vape reflects Cargolux’s commitment to the environment and public health and safety. With this action, we hope to contribute to reducing the availability of these products on the market."

And, Cargolux also hopes that this initiative will lead other logistics companies to take similar actions. A large number of products are now included in the company's list of items shipped on its global network.

According to its official website, Cargolux is the largest all-cargo airline in Europe. This company has modern fleet of Boeing 747-8 and 747-400 freighters. It is a customer of the technologically advanced 747-8F, which was launched at the end of 2011. Join the fleet and be the first operator of such aircraft in the world.
