Backwards and forwards. US postal ping pong??

Is it normals for a parcel from the US to go backwards and forward between 2 towns like this??
Seem to have gone from Kent to Seattle then back to Kent and now back to Seattle again???:hopelessness:

It is 100% correctly addressed. It went tocomstria, then, according to tracking, had delivery attempted in Germany, where it sat for weeks waiting for me to pick it up. It was then returned to the UK, where it again sat for weeks waiting for me to pick it up. For several more weeks tracking then said it was being returned to sender (which is what I wanted - the replacement mod arrived weeks and weeks ago). But now it's saying they've finally noticed the bigcomSTRALIA in the address, so - 12 weeks after it was initially posted - it's on its way again.
