I have had an auto conection sitting around for a few weeks now and wanted to know if it could handle a VV device. It's the auto MV puts in their box mods. I never tried a MV auto and don't know how they hold up. I put it in regular 3.7 to make sure it works, but I like to vape around 4.5 to 5v.
I will probably try it anyways, just low on parts right now.

AzIrish: I have the auto-switch coming (ordered last week from MV). I hope it to be here in the next few days. I have built a VV mod and was planning on making it an auto vv. I have seen that they have an auto VV mod for sale on their site (I also see that they are not planning on making anymore once they sell out).

So it is doable with the auto switch. I have seen in reviews that people haven't have the auto-switch the best reviews, that is probably the factor they are not making anymore atuo VV mods. The main issue with these switches is getting drown in juice and basically shorting out. A quick clean will fix the issue.

I see you have been using yours with a regular 3.7 volt device and no issues, I assume that flooding the switch has not been a problem for you so I suspect it will work fine. I sure hope it does anyway, I am stoked about the auto switch to tell you the truth. I haven't used one since my first 901 starter kit. I loved the auto switches and was very disappointed with manual button batteries for months, but got used to them... then big batt mods came out then higher voltage ect.. and never really thought about auto batteries for a long while.

Once my parts come I will post pictures of building it from scratch, and I will also update my findings and what I have done or will do to prevent this or any other issue that might come up. If you get your parts first I would enjoy what you have done (and what you have done already in your standard voltage mod if anything special to prevent issues like this) your findings.

    Thanks!

I ended up giving it to my brother. The other mod I made for him had a horn switch that he kept firing up. He installs dish's and cable and is always climbing and crawling around. He has been using it now for ten days with no issues.

I put it in an small altoids tin running on 14500.

I'm ordering another auto tomorrow to run a vv since it has held up so good for him. I'm going to use LM2596 chip for the vv.

Here is LM2596 running with the horn switch.

Oh yeah the LED light is super bright on the auto.

I will post a some photos of my vv auto once I get it made as well and keep you updated too.
