I'm looking to replace my MVP with a 18650 VW tube, I rather get something that at least gives me the features of the MVP.

VW, ohm meter without firing the atty (zmax cant), hopefully 15W output, and of course stable and accurate output is very important.

My budget is $150, and I do prefer a tube design on boxies.

Is there anything better than the Vamo in this price?

    Thanks :)

There are a few mods right around there like the Z-max or the SID, the vamo v3 has been a great mod. if your into the box style The VTR is a great choice. I like INNOKIN stuff, my Itaste 134, cool fire2 and MVP's get a lot of use but they are all just under 15 watts so for what your wanting its either a vamo, Z-max, SID, or The L-ryder...that one goes to 20 watts. Oh and I don't necessarily suggest buying from alibaba but you can see what the mods look like and then find the best place to get them. I've never bought from alibaba but I know shipping takes a long ass time. Hope this helps and welcome to NV.

Alibaba is for wholesale, I think you get confused with fasttech :)

I consider the SID but as the Zmax it doesn't look like it can show the resistance without powering the attomizer.

I'll check out the rest, the Ace and the Lambo looks exactly like the Vamo though, I just hope they're not huge as the Volcano :)

I hate to push your budget, but you are right at the door of greatness instead of what I mainly consider "disposable" equipment. Yes, I am a bit of a "snob" but I got tired of throwing away junk all the time.
Then with the advent of the DNA30 being out, I can foresee a lot of DNA20 mods flooding the market soon, and should be going for a decent price, if you don't mind waiting just a bit and buying used.
For $170 you can get the Vapor Shark, http://www.vaporshark.com/vapor-shark-dna-info Now this thing is TINY, I mean super small and the battery life isn't the greatest, but with the USB charging port, it's easy to find a way to charge it as needed.
    $150 gets you this, http://jcmsvapes.com/DZ-D30S
    $100 gets you this, http://jcmsvapes.com/Altoids-DNA30
There's just not much in the way of tube DNA mods in your price range, and right now I can't honestly say they are worth the asking price anyways.

Please don't get me wrong, I've vaped MVP's and VTR's, they are a nice smooth and consistent vape, and some looking around you can find a VTR new for $85 or used at $55 and up, but at the end of the day they are still Chinese and built to the highest of the lowest standards and when they break, it's your baby!
The DNA board has a company that stands behind it, and most of these builder want to keep their reputations high so they will stand behind what they build as well. If you'd have said $70 or $100 and under, we'd be having another conversation, but you are literally $20-30 away from something that is a lot better IMO.

Thanks, Sawlight, it really made me consider a boxy design anyway,
But honestly the lack of 18650 interchangeable batteries kinda make it another downside and I'm not sure I'll enjoy it and be happy with this purchase.
Arrgg I wish the ZNA30 or Hana v3 was "only" $200 :< (The main reason I want the ZNA is as you said, because there's somebody I can trust that stand behind the product, I really trust this guy).

    Wow, I'm impressed :)

That's fine, the Vapor shark isn't the only option out there though, just look around a little and you will see other options as well.

I don't like telescopic mods, so it's out from the get go for me. But I've honestly never used one so I can't say anything either way.
