Here is a quick and dirty battery mod I made tonite cause there's nothing good on the tele. Bought this LED flashlight at the 99 cent store and thought it would make a nice pocket mod. I think I have a light holster around here somewhere

Pushed out the LED assy, mounted a 510 batty connector in a nickel, wired it to the round PCB (stripped of all LEDs) with 24ga wire, and reassembled. on 14500 battery @3.7, will support 18500 or two 18250 for 7.4V (will probably burn out my carto though) .. wish there was enough space for a VR ....

Unfortunately, I hot-glued everything in place, so I can't show you the PCB.

Now to figure out how to replace the original butt-mounted click switch with a momentary one. There was just not enough room to side-mount a button :(

Here are a couple of pics....

Awesome mod, kinda like a mini of your other LED light mod. There has to be a good momentary switch out there to replace the butt mounted one on these. You are giving me some great ideas on what I can do when I'm making my flashlight mod. Now to find time to do it....
Again, thanks for showing your mods, they look like they are turning out absolutely great!

  3. Modded my mod :) I added a LED so I could tell when it was on. Still working on a momentary switch, think maybe a tiny tactical switch may fit, If I am successful, will post another pic.

    LED, Nice :)

One thing though always to remember.. Always use good quality, protected batteries. Also in all possibility try not to stack Li-ion batteries. Best to use Lipofo4 batteries for stacking and 6v :)

Asnider123 I enjoy seeing your mods, when there is nothing I want to watch on tv I end up training dogs. My only attempt at a battery mod prooved to me I am MUCH better off purchasing them.
