I'm not a feminist so I can't comment on whether feminism is a good thing or a bad thing.....

Yeah people always do things like that to advertise or shame a product....... Milo cereal ads claiming to be 4 star health rated (WHAT??!!) or hungry jacks summer ads with teens in bikinis drinking their slushies. Or..... new car ads with children advertising them. I think people are so used to seeing disgusting advertising that a lot of people have become somewhat desensitized to it all.

 

I like those ad's. ...

 

lol I have no doubt that they are appealing to the males of the world...er...and some females.

 

I don't feel like rushing out to grab a burger though, so in that sense the ad's are probably a fail...The bonds ad's with girls in their underware is another favourite of mine...

So in that respect, "Bonds" have reached their target audience While 'bonds' the brand may not have been what you were interested in. It subliminally affected you to the point where you did in fact, remember the brand of the underwear. Result.......? Perfect advertising.

I can prove this by asking you what colour the underwear was? Not sure......? That's because the colour didn't matter. The brand mattered. And you remembered it! Shazam!

Oh and one that used to make me want to throw something at the tv, was one for some lounge recovering mob, and part of their spiel was that they can come round after hours so Dad can have a look too.

Yeah cause all women with kids stay home, with Dad being the breadwinner. And this was only a few years ago.
