I wouldn't be any help to you at all. I am cheating my head off. I am only using regulated. Up and down the watts at will during the day. All over the place. Changing the watts, changing the airflow depending on my whim. Totally different ball game to your nemis and mcr's. I have been kinda keen on setting one up for a mech but I don't want to use 26 gauge because of the ramp up time. Just too easy to make a coil at whatever ohm. Lazy!!!

 

26g on the rose at 1ohm is what I'm running for mechs. No issues with ramp up whatsoever. 26g allows the legs to line up in the slots with a 2.5mm ID contact coil.

Cool. Might give it a go. I suspect that I need some 27 gauge, hardly got any 26 gauge either. My all time favourite is a 2mm ID coil because cotton/hemp twine doubled over fits it sensationally. Gives me four legs that just need to be snipped off. So easy! God I'm a lazy vapor!! Haha, lovit!!!

If you like kayfun's then you likely to love it.
Rose is a much different vape I find, and I can understand a kayfun lover having the same issues.
I like the rose but would take an expro over it any day of the week.
