Some people say this is a stupid question. But, why do we pretend to be happy? Why do we lie so much? Why can't we do things that we find important to our lives? I feel like the human race is becoming robots. I feel like we do not even talk each other anymore. So I have a question to ask.

What is the Point of Life? I want a honest and ungeneric answer.

In my opinion, the point of life is to just become happy and joyful. Our world is developing and becoming happy but I would like to know that why do you think that we are becoming robots?

I think the point of life is to go out what you want to do and enjoy life to the fullest, make the experiences count and take in all the glory and wonders life has to throw at you. It may sound a bit bland but you don't want to live a boring life, do you now?

I don't pretend to be happy, I am legitimately happy :) It took a lot of work and I take care of my body the best I can at the end of the day. I am honest because I shunned lies and put myself in situations where honesty is easy. I do things that I find important to my life, and I'm definitely no robot. I talk to people all the time.

Perhaps you may want to consider that these are simple reflections of where you're at in life? What's the point of being dead? Not being alive? It's a worse outcome. If you loved life, you wouldn't want to miss any dark little pocket or cranny because the nature of existence is to exist as opposed to not existing.

I've had many sleepless nights thinking about things like this, after all those times, only one answer came out. The meaning of life is whatever you find it to mean, for example, for one the meaning of life might be to smoke as many cigarettes as he could, meanwhile for another would be to lift 1000 pounds. Meaning of life is very subjective and therefore different, as life itself has no meaning, or depending on how you look at it, it might have the meaning of you finding it a meaning.

I used to have a few existential crises while growing up until I came across a quote that basically made me stop questioning the point of life. I have become a nihilist in a way, but also, try and just be content with my life. I aim not to regret the choices I make and instead grow from them, however, I learnt that I only have one life and I must make the best of it. In times where I think everything is bad, for example, when I went through a horrible breakup, I needed a new perspective, and also to remember in the scheme of life, it is just a chapter I have to cross.
The quote is by Alan Watts.
“The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.”

The problem with so many people and I think the issue you're facing right now is that we believe we're supposed to be happy all the time. We're not at all! Happiness is so misconstrued nowadays and that is why so many people are medicated for depression. The small moments you feel happiness are laughing, having kids, jumping into the pool on a hot day. Those small moments where you feel bliss but it lasts only a few seconds, that is happiness. And being happy is simply being able to appreciate the collection of small moments you have enjoyed.

I think from a religious stand point it's to leave this earth a better place than what it was for you. In general, I'm not sure if there's a general purpose for everyone as a whole. I think there is a lot freedom for people to choose their own paths and make a purpose for themselves.

Enough said. Just take a deep vape and enjoy ur life doing what u like as long as you don't spoil other's happiness. There are no ulterior purposes of one's life. At least in my opinion.

I used to have a similar opinion and ask questions like that... until, I gave birth to my daughter. That totally changed my life.

As depressing as this answer may seem, no one's life has any meaning. There's no sky daddy judging our actions. We are nothing but an accidental chemical reaction that took it's course for millions of years leading us to this state. Our thoughts are nothing but what our brain processes through basic chemicals. There's nothing good or bad, right or wrong.

That quote explains a few things to me, it's just sounds so ironical when you think about all the people who are committing suicide over the fact that they can't find a clear meaning of life and they start getting very tormented by this idea, until they reach the point where they can no longer bear.

People pronounce a word like one thousand times per month, that word is SUCCESS, many people have a wrong thought about that, most people say that SUCCESS is an achievement, that is completly anddefinitely false, SUCCESS is basically away, a lane, a path you gotta pass through as your life passes, everytime you wanna do something you're just running on your SUCCESS lane towardsthat you want, why do I think that SUCCESS is away and not an objective or a target? easy, because if SUCCESS was really an objective, this question would shoe up " NOW WHAT?", thik about it, life means success, it all depends if you're good enough to make your way through it.
