Cost of vaping?

I'm looking into starting vaping because I'm wondering if it'll help me quit smoking. I smoke Marijuana, I don't believe there is anything wrong with my use but I'm wondering if the cost of vaping is cheaper than the cost of weed. I doubt I'll kick my smoking habit altogether so I'm just wondering which one would save me a little more cash!

 

Vaping is a lot cheaper than Marijuana. A few cartons will last you a couple of days compared to a few balls of weed which may only last you a night time. It ultimately depends on how much you're going to use it, but in the long run vaping is definitely cheaper. I think you can get like 2 cartons for £1 (or $1.50), usually lasts me a couple days maybe even more if I don't use it as much.

 

Vaping will totally help you to transition from smoking cigarettes if you give it the chance and go slow. If you convert quickly, it will be too fast of a change for your body and you will be very cranky. I'd say after a couple weeks and you should be smoke free! It takes time and patience!

 

Well, I guess it depends on what state you live in. If you live in one where marijuana is legal then I'd definitely consider switching to vaping THC instead of smoking it. But, if you live in one of the many states where marijuana is still illegal then it's not going to help much because you're still going to want to get high and it's really hard to get THC vape liquid and if you do find it on the street who the hell knows what's in it... probably not what you want and it'll be SUPER EXPENSIVE!

 

I have the same question. I'm familiar with the cost of nicotine juices, but I haven't come across the cost of thc waxes and stuff like that. I live in a state where pot is still illegal and vape thc is just not common here.

 

When it comes about nicotine, for me it's around 20-25$ a month, however I live in a "cheaper" country. I really don't know about THC, also are there juices with THC or you plan or simply smoking marijuana out of it? If so, the price would be pretty much the same I guess since you would use about the same quantity.

 

If you are smoking juices without high amounts of nicotine or THC in them they can be really affordable. On a weekly basis I spend about $10 on vaping, which is much cheaper than smoking.

 

This is somehow right, however I would rather smoke weed than vape for real, the feeling is WAAY different, I would definitely keep smoking weed, blaze it for life.

 

That's about 2 packs of cigarettes where I live. It's crazy to think about how much money you can save through vaping. I would of thought the THC would cost more than vape juice.

 

I was referring to vape juice, anyway, where I live, you could get about 5-6 packs of cigarettes with these money, enough for a week maybe.

Yes, vaping is without a doubt a lot cheaper than smoking, anyway I still haven't seen an answer about THC juices and their price.

 

yeah I understood. I was just saying that the $20 you spend on vape juice a month is equal to the cost of only two packs of cigarettes for me. Vaping is incredibly cheap compared to smoking cigarettes.

 

I dont use THC based products, but my expenditure on juice is about 35 dollars a month. Recently, it has been a bit higher as I have been experimenting with the more premium juices. But overall, I have saved a ton of money over cigs. In the case of THC, I guess you'll only benefit if marijuana is legal in your state.

 

There's no doubt that if you're a smoker that turns to vaping then you're going to save a lot of money. I was slightly sceptical at first, especially when I found out how much some if the kits were to actually start vaping.

After that first initial outlay though, all you have to buy is your liquids from then on so it's worked out a lot cheaper for me.

 

When comparing vaping to smoking the costs are way inferior, so for most people that's what interest the most. All in all, it's a cheap activity.

 

Where I live, most of the people says it's too much actually to buy a quality kit, without realizing it would still cost them less than cigarettes per a month, I guess it's all about the illusion of not giving out the money on a single shot, but day-by-day. People are a lot more likely to spend 4 dollar per day, and 120 in one go.

 

Depending on the country it can be expensive true, but long term it's a safe investment as smoking is more expensive.

 

Vaping is a lot cheaper, and I have found that I have saved a lot of money in comparison to when I was smoking. It is great to put the spare money to one side for the first month or so, as this means that you are able to see just how much you are saving. It can be great to buy something special with the money that you've saved, too, as it means that you really have a symbol for what you have achieved, which you wouldn't have had otherwise.

 

That's exactly what I was meaning. A smoker might be interested in starting vaping instead but if they ask how much your kit is, you'll say $150, and they'll automatically stop listening and change their mind.

They think more about that initial outlay, than what they do regarding saving money in the long term.

 

Well, initially, you'll have to shell out money for your device and some juices. So that can turn people off because hey, it's $100 off the first time. And with smoking weeds or cigarettes, you can even start out with just a few dollars. But believe me, in the long run, you can save money when vaping.

I started with a newbie kit and had that for a few months. I researched juices before buying them so I won't buy bad flavours. I was contented with my mod and after the initial shell out, I didn't spend any more expect for the coils and the juices.

But then I got into it so much, trying out different mods and devices and juices. That's when I spent too much money on vaping. And that's where you will fail too, trying out flavours, experimenting with mods... Because, well, it's fun!

I've learned my lesson though since then and only buy juices that I love. I don't buy new devices until my current one is broken. And lastly, whatever happens. don't go searching for cool mod ideas... Just don't! Haha!

 

@pwarbi @missvape I find people to be very stupid on that specific matter, actually most of people around here, are poor, exactly because of very bad money management. They never think about the money they could save, just because they only have to buy liquid and not packs of cigarettes.
