I definitely get where they are coming from, but it becomes an issue when there are others in the house that are inhaling second hand smoke. There are plenty of place to smoke outside the house like on a balcony or porch. It is tough with older folks who are just so used to smoking in the house.

I think it already goes beyond what other people think. It has become such a habit not to smoke anywhere that if you try to vape outside those areas it just feels strange.

That's the problem, and while it was only those two that lived in the house, we would all go round there as kids so we'd be breathing that smoke in. Again, back then though it wasn't seen as big of an issue as it is now.

That's another reason I don't understand the amount of hate vaping is getting at the moment. People are being encouraged to stop smoking, but when they try by switching to vaping, they're being told that's wrong aswell.

Interestingly, I would choose to not smoke at all now, as I have completely switched to vaping now. I often found that non smokers would sort of avoid me after a smoke, however I have no such issues with vaping. I routinely vape in my room, but visitors almost never manage to guess.

Inside my house would be the first place and the second place would be inside my car. Like, cigarettes really stink up the car and it's irritating to other people who come with me in the car.

I also had a similar experience to yours, even though I made it a self impose rule to not smoke inside of my room again, I have been to my uncle's room, and believe me when I say, I felt like I was inside of an ash tray, the walls were yellow the exact same way you described. If you left the windows close over night, without anyone smoking there or even staying there, you could feel the smell of smoke, as the walls and everything there seems to have retrieved the same smell. He said that he needs to clean every wall there, after that aspire them, and re-paint in order for that room to be normal ever again. However, I do not know if that would work.

Keep it a secret and I will tell you :) I use to take my lunch breaks at work during the winter time and vape in the bathroom. I'm sorry but I hate being cold and I try to avoid it at all costs! It was easy to do during the weekend shifts, but during the week I had to be careful.

Haha, when I thought no one was around at work I'd vape in the elevator because I'm obnoxious, one night I got off and to my surprise someone got on. I had just been vaping so it was kind of just floating there. I'm not sure what the person thought but, I didn't hear any fire alarm that night so it worked out!

FEELING the smell is a great way to describe it. I had to impose the same no smoking inside rule in my next apartment, it was just too gross and probably something that helped to lead me on the path to looking for an alternative. And then you imagine that's what's going into your LUNGS when you smoke it's terrible. I've been vaping in my office forever and the walls aren't covered in grime! So, I got that going for me!

Yeah, it's terrible to think that's what happens through your lungs, but anyway, think about the fact that even if that is what happens through your lungs, you have no reason to make it even worse by smoking into a room and after that sleeping there and spending all day, that is a thing that makes it worse for sure. I have a friend who says that his chamber is like a smoke box, I don't know how to make him at least stop smoking in that chamber, he is way too comfortable.

I have a friend who smokes a ton in his room near his computer. Basically, his room looks like something you'd see at https://www.reddit.com/r/shittybattlestations. Empty soda cans that are turned into ashtrays, what ashtrays there are have long since begun to look like porcupines. Just...gross. I don't think vaping would help him too much but, it couldn't hurt.

If I had a choice I would vape anywhere I could, but that doesn't tend to be the case for reality. Smoking a vape in places like it was the 50's in regards to acceptability for smoking would be great. Though it doesn't seem to be headed that way, laws are getting stricter, and vaping is being treated the same as cigarette smoke.

My friend also made his room into one of those, I don't really know if he's into soda that much though, but I know for a fact that he would construct castles out of empty cigarette packs, turns them into ashtrays from time to time, probably he is addicted to computer more than to cigarettes, since he seems to never go outside to really enjoy a cigarette when he is at home, he just smoke them inside of his room, with window closed.
