Friends that vape?

I used to be with a group of friends that smoked a lot. Then they switched to vaping because of health issues. That's when I switched to vaping, and so far I've had no regrets.

 

The first time I vaped it was with a friend. She was trying trying vaping to stop smoking (which worked, by the way) and she asked me if I wanted to vape too. I said yes and since that day I've been vaping all the goodies. I also have two other friends that vape too, so yeah, my friends vape. We talk about it & exchange tips and stuff too, so that's nice.

 

In my group, I'm the one that started the trend, after that, 4 persons tried to follow me, however only 2 of them got used to vaping and switched completely, sadly there are still other smokers in my group, but I'll convert them all with time. The main reason for people switching, at least around my group, seems to be the money which could be saved. Also, to answer your last question, yes, me along with those 2 guys, went from smoking with others to vaping while they smoke, when you are alone it's kind of weird, but when there are already 3 people, it seems just like a normal thing.

 

I fisrt started vaping because a friend was the one who introduced me the vape the first time, now, I cutted off the contact with him and now I know other people who vape and we usually do it together when whe have the chance to meet and stuff.

 

I have several friends as well as acquaintances who vape - in fact they are the ones who actually got me into it.
Of course I got other friends who find it "lame" however there is a select few who support my hobby.

 

How do they find it lame? The fact that you are simply vaping? Or the fact that you are vaping instead of smoking like everybody else?

Sad thing you cut off the contact with the one who got you into vaping (I'm supposing you've been a smoker before that), after all that friend helped you become a better version of yourself and did something for you that made your life better on overall.

 

I only knew two of my friends that were vaping. I knew about vaping before they got into it, but I didn't really feel comfortable doing it until I saw them with it. Other smokers are usually fascinated by it and I've helped a few others get started on vaping.

 

I feel you, that kind of things always happen, you might be talking to me right now, tomorrow, who knows.. life is all about that I guess...

 

"I've gone digital" haha. I have to admit, I've never heard it called that before but I guess it's one way you can describe it.

Just on a side note, I still carry a lighter around even though I vape mainly now, its just another habit that's associated with smoking thats hard to kick.

 

Probably life is just a game of chances and twists which is played terribly by everyone, as it never came with its rules or instructions written. That might be the reason why we ended up smoking and after that vaping in the first place. Anyway if I was to do anything again, I would do exactly the same things.

I believe this is the first time I ever hear about a person who carries a lighter with him just because it used to be a habit when he was smoking, and it helps him to kick the smoking habit. Anyway, if you ever run out of battery, have no second battery a light might come in handy if you also have a cigarette I guess.
