Since I bought my new mod, which was a skeleton key, I got sent a vape band from the guys shop as a free gift with my purchase. I never really understood what the purpose of them was, but after having it on it makes sense what they are for.

I used to struggle sometimes to open up my tank to refill it, but with the vape band it provides grip around the top of the tank to make opening it much easier! No more hurting hands after battling to unscrew anymore.

Does anyone else use vape bands and how do you find them?

Well, these devices sound really interesting to me. Can you give me some more details about these devices? Where can I buy them?

Hello Rajesh, you can buy them online or from most reputable E cig stores, they cost buttons but they work really well for me. I used to have trouble opening the tank sometimes but with this on the top its much much easier! It gives you more grip on the tank.

I honestly didn't know that it existed but i can see how it can come in handy. I have had difficulty in opening my mod once or twice when my hands were slippery, something like this could have avoided a whole lot of hassles.

Hmm... I've seen them, but never used them. I just wrap a rag around the base of the tank and use pliers to break the seal when it gets stuck. I'll see if one of the vendors that I order from regularly offers them, and add a couple to my next order.

I thought vape bands were used to protect the device from breaking or shattering in case they fell over. But that's not to say that your idea isn't a great. I do have trouble sometimes opening my tank so this can be very useful!

On the other hand, my mech mods are super slippery and slidey. I imagine that using these vape bands can give me that grip that I need whenever I need to push the mod to the bottom. Thank you for sharing this idea to us.

Thank you Daniel for the information. Can you refer me some cheap online e-cig stores?
