No, I do not think vaping should be banned in public. Vaping is a drug that can be inhaled from second hand smoke. It does not leave an annoying smell like cigarettes. Vapping should never be banned in public. I think people are getting to the point where they do not want to see anything cool or fun in public. It’s people want people to be boring and miserable. It is sad.

Deffinitely not, they should ban cigarettes right before trying anything against vapes, they're nothing compared to cigarettes for real, people just need to realize of vapes because they're not that known everywhere, it's all about getting used to it and its facts.

Depending, banned in public outside or inside? Also, for cigarettes, I would ban them for good as they are proven to kill millions every year, and 1 out of 2 persons who smoke dies because of it. In my country smoking and vaping is already banned inside of public spaces like restaurants, your job's car and others like these.

I agree the law should just treat vaping similarly to cigarettes. It's hard to say whether it should be more or less restricting. I'll wait on the research before deciding how it should be treated. In the meantime, I do my best to avoid vaping around others.

I would have to say that it is far less harmful than a lot of the other things that are legal and seen in public all the time. Smoking, drinking, pills, gluttonous fast food, coffee...you name it we see it and put up with it, and I do not see why this has to be any different. You can make the argument for personal freedom all day too, but I won't go there. I hope that people are not just out there overreacting to overreact and we can at least have sensible discussions around these issues.

I don't think it should be banned, though I personally don't do it in public. I feel a little embarrassed sometimes, and feel like people are looking at me funny with my giant vape rig that looks like a C4 detonator. I know my vape doesn't really have a smell or a lingering one anyway but, I try to put myself in the shoes of a non-vaper/smoker. It looks weird and it might just bother people. So I try to be low key about it, but no reason to ban it.

There is only one answer for me, hell no!
In public I think it is much better to vape than smoke. It tastes much much better, smells better and is cleaner for the user than smoking a normal cigarette, plus the passive smoke from an E-cig is much better than the toxins from a cigarette so I think it is win win from all points of view. Granted, It does give off much more smoke than a normal cigarette, but the health benefits for the user and those around them is better too!

I can't see how banning them in public will help anyone. It will probably drive vapers back to smoking instead!

Not at all. Vaping should not be banned in public. Instead of vaping devices, cigars should be banned. Well, vaping devices are much safer than cigarettes. I have experienced a lot of health benefits since I left cigars. So, it should not be banned in public.

Where I live, they are already treating vaping the same as smoking. Anywhere you cannot smoke, you also cannot vape. The problem is that it makes it harder to vape and will tempt many smokers to stick with cigarettes because vaping isn`t any more convenient. I think there is an ulterior motive here. The government doesn`t really want to lose the tax money on cigarettes by having people switch to vaping so they are trying to discourage vaping in order not to lose the revenue. The excuse is that we don`t know the health risks yet over the long term, but if they really wanted to get people to quit smoking, they would promote vaping as an alternative instead of making it more difficult to do.

I treat vaping the same way as I would smoking, I think that it's the best way to deal with it. The way things are now they are fine and don't create to much of a dent to anyone that wants to vape.

In my addition vaping should stay allowed in public areas so as smoking is. I don't see any logical reason for people to disallow it since it is less annoying than smoking.

In my opinion, I think that vaping in public is like smoking in public. Vaping should be as prohibited as smoking is and that smoking areas are where vapers should go.
