Is it ethically to vape inside of rooms

It is ethical to vape in a room full of people? I mean, even if it does not do the harm smoke does, maybe some of the people don't want to inhale our vapors. I remember that in college lots of my class-mates would vape inside of course rooms, even some teachers would. At some work places I know for sure that vaping is allowed, but there are also places where it is strictly forbidden. Should it be considered like smoking, a bad habit, and forbidden inside of a room with other people?

 

It should be forbidden until there is more research on the effects of vape smoke. We simply do not know the full effects of second hand vape smoke. I don't mind it being treated very similarly to cigarette smoke.

 

I try my best to not vape around others. We simply do not know how bad vape smoke is second hand. Until then, it certainly should be treated similarly to cigarette smoke.

 

I would not like to vape around people in a close room. I like to vape in isolation. I feel much comfortable vaping in private areas than the public places. Well, many people are not aware of the vaping devices and I don't want the people to have a bad impression on me and that is why I vape in private room.

 

Really depends on the context.
House party with people already smoking? Yup no issues there. I was at a house party actually this past weekend, someone made up a sign (on a pizza box lol gotta love college) "cigarette/pot smokers have to go outside, vape is fine inside."
But would I fire up inside a classroom or at a family gathering. no I would not.

 

Hmmm... It depends. If it's in a classroom setting, I think it's more ethical to not vape inside it. For one, it's on school grounds and you might get in trouble if the administration sees you. Second, not all people do understand what vaping is and might not want to be around the vapour.

If it's in work, then if it's in your own room, then I think it's okay. But if you work in an office without rooms, then it's not advisable to vape around your colleagues. Again the same principles apply here, you might get in trouble with the higher people and not a lot of people do like being exposed to vapour.

If it's in a club or VIP room and most of the people you are with are smoking or vaping anyway, then it's okay. After all, it depends on the people around you.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, base it on the situation and people around you. That's when you will know if it's okay to vape in a room or private place.

 

I remember back in high school days, in the last year, people would walk around, vaping, so full of themselves, because the administration couldn't do anything to punish them. The inside rules, weren't applying and weren't even mentioning anything about vaping, so it was simply legal. They would vape all day on the hall way, and few of them even in class (however most of them went outside to socialize with smokers), but somehow people around, never seemed to be annoyed by that.

 

No, I don't think it would be wise to vape inside a huge room of people. I would probably vape outside of the room or in the smoking area. Not worth it to get yelled at or spoken to for vaping with other people. Many people despise vaping so not really a good idea.

 

On this forum, everybody seems to be so cautious about vaping/smoking in rooms with other people, right now I'm thinking if its only my country's people who are very stupid and never care about that and smoke wherever they like, or simply this forum's people who are very well educated.

 

Yeah vapes are really good in any area because the smell is so different from the tobacco, however some people may find it a bit disturbing because htey might associate it with weed or some stuff like that when it's not even remotely close to it, if people had their mind mroe open you wouldn't even ask this question but I'd go blunt on this. I do think it's unethical because we as society are not used to it yet.

 

If you're not vaping nicotine I don't think it's a problem vaping around a bunch of people. The only concern people might have is that they don't want to be smelling your vape juice.

 

It fine as long as it doesn't damage the room itself. For example, there's always a smoke smell inside some rooms where long-term smokers live. However, the vaping smell is usually gone in a very short period of time.
